We Did it Again!
Thanks to your generous donations to the
                           Tess McIntyre Foundation, 9 horribly
abused dogs from throughout the United
States and Mexico have been rescued
                           from deplorable conditions and received
life-saving medical care. Here are the
stories of the remarkable dogs we helped
                           save this year.

Miley
Miley was kept chained up by her owners
for the first five months of her life. When
our partners at Home for Good Dog
Rescue (HFGR) found Miley she was
limping because of the abuse she
suffered. Thanks to you, we helped pay
for Miley’s veterinary care. She has been
adopted by a loving family that takes
excellent care of her. Freed from her
chains, Miley has free rein of her
                           backyard.

Sirona
Sirona was rescued when she was
three-years old. She had a large
mass on the side of her neck and
was covered in fleas. Sirona was
                           malnourished because the mass
on her neck impaired her ability to
                           swallow. Because of your
                           donations, Sirona was able to
have the surgery she needed to
                           remove the mass. While
                           recovering, Sirona stole the hearts
of her foster family who adopted
                           her.

Cleo
Cleo lived the first seven or eight years of
her life in horrible conditions. Cleo had a
lot of medical problems that required
                           costly surgeries and medications,
including a tumor on her backside, severe
                           dermatitis, decaying and missing teeth
and a hematoma in her left ear. Thanks to
your generous support, we provided Cleo
with the treatments she so desperately
needed. She will soon be transported to a
                           loving home in New Jersey.

Kaiya
Kaiya was rescued from a puppy
                           mill and suffered from genetic
                           disorders that made her
                           incontinent and subject to
                           frequent, painful urinary tract
                           infections. Your generosity helped
the us pay for two surgeries to
                           correct these conditions. Kaiya is
                           currently recovering and her
doctors are confident she will be
able to lead a normal happy life.

Captain
Captain was found unresponsive with a
bullet wound that went from his right
shoulder to the left side of his head. After
                           he was rescued), he underwent
                           emergency surgery. Your compassionate
                           donations helped pay for Captain’s
                           continued care, which includes treatment
for heartworm and neutering. Captain will
be a wonderful pet for a very lucky family.

Hayden
Hayden had to be carried out of
                           the breeding facility where he
suffered a lifetime of abuse. One
                           of Hayden’s kneecaps moves out
of place and he is blind in one eye.
                           Your generosity helped pay for
                           Hayden’s operation to correct his
kneecap. He is recovering and is a
                           “lovable, happy, goofy Golden
boy” that will be a great addition
to a caring forever family one day.

Cookie
Cookie was only 8 months old when
her owners had to surrender her
because they couldn't afford to pay
for the surgery she needed to repair
a blockage in her intestine from a
large hair curler. Because of your
donations, Cookie was able to have
surgery and is now recovering nicely.

Virgo
When Virgo was rescued, she was
                           suffering from inhumane
                           overbreeding and had just given
birth to a litter of five puppies.
She also had an eye infection,
                           heartworm, severe sarcoptic
                           mange and was covered with
                           parasitic mites. Your generous
                           donations helped Virgo and her
puppies receive the care they so
                           desperately need. They will soon
be transported to New Jersey and
                           adopted into loving homes.

Luna
Luna is about 2 years old and came to us
                           severely underweight. She had Exocrine
                           Pancreatic Deficiency and a bacterial
overload in her stomach. Her foster mom
describes her as a sweet, loving dog who
likes to play ball. So far she has gained
two pounds and is eating five times a day.
We look forward to seeing Luna in full
health and ready to be adopted into her
                           forever home.
