Find out more - http://acsfoundation.cart.net.au/BiG-Day-In-Perth-Tuesday-8-May-2018- Curtin-University TAFE, VET & Apprenticeships Hospitality Group Training School Based Chef Apprenticeship Students attend the workplace one day a week, TAFE one day a week and the rest of the working week (3 days) at school. Chef Apprenticeship - Certificate III in Commercial Cookery Cooks and chefs prepare and present food. They work in a variety of places including hotels, restaurants, cafes, hospitals and catering businesses. An apprentice chef will probably be required to do shift work or "split shifts", weekends and public holidays. Apprenticeships generally last three years and employment prospects are excellent within Australia and overseas. It's a unique opportunity for your students to try out a career in Navy, Army or Air Force and get a feel for a military life without committing for a longer period. In 2019 there are 14 roles to choose from ranging from admin to artillery and even flight crew, plus this year we’re offering 30 Army Officer roles - places are limited.

Ambitious and hungry for real work experience now? Become a cadet and combine your degree with real work experience to make a serious start to your career. By becoming a cadet you will be extending the length of your overall degree by at least one year to accommodate working full-time and studying part-time. However this will vary depending on single degree, double degree (Brisbane only) and when you start your Cadet Program. The Cadet Program is currently offered in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
