Student Schedules Students are able to access their schedules on HAC beginning July 31 Steps to Access Schedule on HAC: 1. Click “Class” icon on top row. 2. Click “Schedule” folder tab.
Guidelines for Schedule Changes There are only three situations in which a schedule change will be considered: 1. Student is missing a required course for graduation and will not have time to make it up in future years. 2. Student has been enrolled in a course that s/he has already taken and passed. 3. Student is a senior and needs to adjust schedule due to work. The deadline to add and/or drop a class is August 13th.

Arrival & Dismissal Map Enter at Asher Avenue and Campus Drive. ● Juniors and Seniors: Drop-off and Pick-Up Behind the University Plaza Breezeway ● Student Parking: Students are to park in the designated area in University Plaza. ● Sophomores: Drop-Off Student Parking and Pick-Up In Front of eStem ● Exit on University Avenue

Arrival & Parking 1. Enter the UA of Little Rock Campus at the traffic light at Asher and Campus Drive. The gate will be open at 7:15 and close at 8:30 am. 2. Drop students off at designated area. If you have students in more than one grade level, drop them off in the designated are for the student in the highest grade. For example, if you have a 10th and an 11th grader, drop them off behind the University Plaza Breezeway. There will be signs and eHS faculty and UA of Little Rock Police directing traffic. ● Enter at Asher Avenue and Campus Drive. ○ Juniors and Seniors: Drop-off and Pick-Up Behind University Plaza Breezeway ■ Student Parking: Park in designated area in University Plaza. ○ Sophomores: Drop-Off and Pick-Up In Front of eStem 1. Please exit the UA of Little Rock campus or Big Lots on University Avenue. 2. Students arriving before 7:45 must report to Ross Hall using the EAST side entrance. Students with office hours or Limitless Learning must have a pass to enter the main entrance. 3. Students arriving from 7:45-8:05 will report to their designated area (see map). ○ Seniors: Front of the building ○ Juniors: East Side ○ Sophomores: West Side If you drop off a student after 8:30, please enter the UA of Little Rock Campus from University Avenue.
Dismissal Dismissal Procedures: Student Drivers, Carpool Students, Rock Region Metro Riders, and Walkers: ● Walkers, student drivers, carpool students, and Rock Region Metro bus riders will be dismissed at 3:35 p.m. Students most show the proper pass before exiting the building. CAR RIDER Dismissal-No form or pass is needed for this mode of transportation. Students will be picked up at designated location (same as arrival). 1. Pick up students in the same area that you dropped them off. The gate for picking up sophomores will open at 3:00 and close at 4:30 pm. If you pick up a student after 4:30, please enter the UA of Little Rock Campus from University Avenue.
Early Checkout Procedures eStem Public Charter School offers a welcoming and warm environment for our parents and children. However, we are also very committed to doing our job well – primarily the educating of our students and keeping them secure while they are in our care. In order to do that, we have developed the following guidelines for checking out students. Adherence to these policies helps us maintain a safe learning environment. We would appreciate your commitment to the following times. No exceptions will be made.
CHECKOUT Times Parents/Guardians are not permitted to enter the building for early checkouts. Please complete THIS FORM to make your checkout arrangements. . NO CHECKOUTS ● BEFORE 9:00 AM ● BETWEEN 3:15 AND 3:40 PM
Student Drivers, Carpool Students, Rock Region Metro Riders, and Walkers: 1. Student drivers will park in the designated area of the University Plaza Parking lot. No parking is allowed in reserved spots in University Plaza. 1. Student Driver-The student must have a UA Little Rock parking pass and drive him/herself to school. Please complete the vehicle Registration form HERE. 1. Carpool Student- A student may carpool with an eStem student driver if indicated on the student driver’s Vehicle Registration form. 1. Rock Region Metro Rider- Bus pass information can be found on the eStem High School website. Email vakeisa.jones@estemschools.org for more details. 1. Walkers-This option is reserved for students whose parents work at UA Little Rock. Email christianna.braddix@estemschools.org to verify permission.
Attendance Policy ● Please send notification of any absence to hsattendance@estemschools.org. If you are checking your student out early, please use the form on our website. ● Provide official documentation upon return to the front office for our records (ex: doctor’s note, college visit email, etc) ● Parents are notified once a student accumulates 5 & 10 absences per course. ● Upon 10 absences in a semester, a student may not receive credit for courses.

Student Handbook & Responsibilities
CELL PHONES “WE SEE IT, WE TAKE IT.” Students may use their cell phones during lunch, once they are inside the multi-purpose room. ● An eStem staff member will confiscate any cell phone that is on, visible, or emits an audible signal while in the high school building. ● A parent must sign for the phone in order for the student to retrieve it. ● Refusal to submit a phone, if asked, will result in an immediate “send home.”
All eStem Staff Will Require That Cell Phones Must be Put Away and Turned Off While Inside The Building or on Zoom. eStem High School is not responsible for lost or stolen electronic devices. Apple Watches (and similar devices) must be on airplane mode or turned off.

Dress Code Policies 1. Students shall be dressed and groomed in a manner that is clean, neat, and is not disruptive to the learning environment. eStem High School prohibits any clothing or grooming that, in the administration’s judgment, may reasonably be expected to cause a disruption of normal school operations. 1. The dress code will be strictly enforced. The School Director has final authority on all matters relating to the dress code. Students violating the dress code will be asked to phone home for appropriate clothing. 1. Students violating the dress code may be issued a detention. Repeated violations of the dress code may result in Saturday School, ISS, or suspension. If a student is not present for class due to a dress code violation, the student will be responsible for making up any and all missed assignments/assessments.

MASKS Masks are not required to match school dress code colors; however, they may not contain any writing, text, phrases, or language other than the eStem logo. If students do not have a mask, then one will be provided by the school. Masks are not required when students are engaged in a physical activity (e.g. physical education, recess).
WATER APPROVED INAPPROPRIATE Due to Covid-19, the school drinking fountains will not be accessible; however, students will have access to the water stations throughout the school. Students are only permitted to use plastic containers that have been approved by the school.
