Eligibility Tournament will be played in full accordance with the Laws of Badminton and competition regulations adopted by the BWF. Players should be eligible to play for BWF Member Associations. Documentation supporting the nationality of players is required. 7. Prize Money USD $10.000 Prize distribution (USD $10.000.00) Place MS WS MD WD XD TOTAL • This amount will be divided by two 8. Schedule of Play Wednesday, March 6 th : Technical Meeting at 10:00 hrs Wednesday, March 6th : Qualifying rounds at 16:00 hrs Thursday, March 7th: Main Draw at 10:00 hrs Friday, March 8th: Main Draw at 10:00 hrs Saturday, March 9th: Semi-Finals at 10:00 hrs Sunday, March 10th: Finals at 16:00 hrs Final Schedule will be published following the draw. 14. Practice Schedule Send practice schedule requests to: jamaicainternational@badmintonjamaica.org 15. Entry Fee US$ 150/player Entry fees are to be paid in cash before beginning of event If entry fees are not paid according to the regulations, the players concerned are not allowed to play. The member association that enters a player into a circuit tournament is responsible for paying the entry fees for that player. 16. Players must have a BWF ID number. If necessary the MA can create the BWF ID through the online entry system. 17. BWF Headquarters Please ensure that the organizer is informed immediately when a player has to withdraw, clearly stating the reason for withdrawal. Attention: Any withdrawal after the Sunday immediately preceding the draw, for any reason whatsoever, renders the Member Association concerned liable to an amount of $150.00 for the inconvenience caused by the withdrawal (as defined in BWF General Competition Regulations 24. Visa Important for all players who need visas for Jamaica: Please request immediately from the Jamaica Badminton Association an official Invitation Letter and apply as soon as possible. Transportation The Jamaica Badminton Association will provide transportation from the airport (Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston) to the official hotels, and the venue, for registered players and team members staying at the official hotel(s). 30.
