Update - April 2021
2021 NZPCA Championship is one week away with many
horses and riders making their way south. Unfortunately, COVID has really affected our event
and we only have 41 championship entries and only 7 out of 15 Areas represented. Well, the
show must go on and along with the 13 non championship entries we plan to make it an event
not to forget.
Robbie Maclean has been back in Cromwell since the 9th April to complete construction of the
course. Thank you to our Otago Southland Pony Club members and supporters who again
assisting with working bees. Here is a sneak peak of some of his handy work. We can’t wait to
see the XC dressed and water in the water jump.

She is really excited to be photographing the Championship event this

We suggest you pre-order feed directly with them, as sometimes some feeds can be limited.

Please bring own tape and standards to assist safety in your supplied paddock or temporary

Vet
Becci at Central Lakes Equine will be the our vet for the whole event,
along with being our guest speaker at the Welcome dinner.
Central Lakes Equine are Central Otago's dedicated Equine Veterinary
Clinic. They provide quality veterinary care and are the only veterinary
centre locally that can provide all of their services in a field setting.
Investment into the latest equine diagnostic equipment means they
can make a fast diagnosis at a critical time for your horse. There is no
longer a requirement to wait. Give them a call if you require assistance
for any aspects of equine health. An efficient service is their speciality.

Which Horses are most ready for our National
Championship?
Aaron Swain from McMillian will be on the grounds on
Friday between 11am and 1:30pm with his equine scales.
He is supplying a prize for the best conditioned team, so
team managers make sure you get your team across his
scales.
He will also run a guess the weight of your mount
competition open to all competitors including non-
champs.
Not too late to join in the Welcome Dinner! Come and look at some different horse power.
We still have some more tickets available for the welcome meal and skit night. This is being held at
the Highlands Motorsport Park, a must see, while visiting Cromwell.
Tickets are $20 and include a meal, access to their Museum and Virtual Reality Room.
Teams booked tickets with entry, however If you would like more tickets or would like to join us (All
