Insight Summit Parkinson's New Zealand has partnered with PD Warrior to bring you Insight Summit 2019. The summit begins on World Parkinson's Day, 11 April 2019, and runs for three days. You can watch live and join in the discussion, or watch them later at your leisure. With the event being online it is easy for everyone to unite, participate and have easy access to the latest global research on Parkinson's. A Word From Your Educator Anne Hall, Waikato North Janine and I have had our planning day for the year and have come up with some great activities and guest speakers for the monthly support group meetings. As usual the Hamilton support group meeting is the third Thursday of the month 10:30 at St Francis Church, 92 Mansel Ave, Hillcrest. The first meeting on February 21st we have Alana Leask, Occupational Therapist, talking on fatigue and how to manage this issue with handy tips and strategies. On March 21st we have Steph McLennan from Strong and Stable talking to us about the nationwide initiative to live stronger for longer via strength and balance classes that are delivered across the Waikato region by the Midland Community Pharmacy Group.
