Spotlight Cheer and Dance Competitive Team Try Out Pack Season 2018 – 2019 Competitive Team Try Outs Spotlight Cheer and Dance are looking forward to our fifth competitive season; we are now recruiting for more competitive Cheerleaders and dancers for our season 2018-19. In order to gain a place in the team, try outs will take place as the children will be carefully selected based entirely on their current skills. If your child gains a place on the team they are expected to be dedicated and attend every training session possible. I ask you to read through the following documents and be very sure this is for you before signing up. By trying out you are telling me you want to take your dace/cheer to the next level and you are willing to work hard the whole season through. The rules and codes of conduct are in place to protect us as a programme but also all the children within the teams. Try outs will take place 2nd June 2018 at the studio from 9-2pm. Try out cost £6 should be paid in cash when returning your child’s signed form. Your child will not be allowed to try out unless correct form is signed and payment is made by 1st June. Children may try out to compete in more than one team this must be clearly stated on from. Please be aware if trying out for two or more teams that there will be additional entry fee for comps and additional costs for training. Try out results will be emailed out on the 11th June, you will then have one week to confirm if your child is accepting there place. Team placing is final and is not open for discussion. The children currently in the competitive teams have a brilliant time at the competitions. It is a fantastic way for the children to develop their skills and build confidence within the sport. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication but i believe it is so rewarding for the children to compete against other teams around the country. Any other questions or information required feel free to get in touch. Thank you Katie Black 07816293877 Spotlightfife@gmail.com Page 2 of 9
