ABOUT US Thank you for showing interest in Oregon Dream Teams Cheerleading Program. We are excited that you are considering joining us for Season 11. No matter the age or skill level of a your child, we have a program that can meet your needs! The attached packet should help answer many of your questions about our program. Oregon Dream Teams has been open since 2010 with a reputation for excellence! Oregon Dream Teams is proud to offer the best instructors and an amazing 15,000 square foot facility, we have all of the components needed to help your child succeed! PROGRAM COSTS TUITION Tuition is paid monthly per athlete for all teams. Tuition is paid on an 12 month term. Tuition runs from May 1, 2020 - April 30, 2021. Monthly Tuition is due on the 1st and is automatically ran through Amilia. POLICIES CONTINUED ADDITIONAL CLASSES In order to ensure the most comprehensive training and appropriately leveled competitive teams Oregon Dream Teams requires that some athletes take additional classes. The cost of these additional classes will be the responsibility of the athlete’s family but will be assessed at the discounted rate for Oregon Dream Teams’ team members. 1. If the athlete is not meeting the medium range requirements for tumbling in accordance with the ODT Rubric, the athlete will be required to enroll in either one tumbling class per week or two monthly privates through Amilia. 2. If the athlete is a flyer and is unable to perform the stunting/flexibility skills within the teams’ choreography, the athlete will be required to enroll in either one flying/flexibility class per week or two monthly privates with a stunting coach through Amilia. All flyers are required to attend one weekly flexibility class at no additional cost to the athlete for the duration of the season. ATHLETE/PARENT HANDBOOK There is a comprehensive Athlete/Parent Handbook that is available at the open house, parent bootcamps, online, and at the front desk year round. This handbook contains all of the Oregon Dream Teams rules and guidelines for both the athletes and parents that participate on any team at Oregon Dream Teams. It is integral that each family familiarize themselves with these guidelines as to avoid any issues throughout the season.
PARENT POLICIES COMMUNICATION As a parent, you will receive information in several ways. Each week we send quick weekly emails. In addition there will be a monthly newsletter that is more in depth. Please make sure you are on ODT Families, our gym Facebook page, and your teams’ Facebook group as well! FEES • A schedule of payments will be handed out. All monthly payments are set up in Amilia and come out automatically on the 1st of the month. If you choose to make a payment and not have your designated card charged, you must bring a check into the desk by the 31st of each month. Please make all checks payable to Oregon Dream Teams. • A late fee of $35 will be assessed for all payments made after the 5th of each month. If your payment is declined from your bank, please make the payment immediately at the desk or via Amilia. • Monthly tuition is not pro-rated for any reason. • Assessments are non refundable. If you choose to leave the team or are removed from the team these fees are not returned. • By the 15th of each month, your account must be up to date. Otherwise, athlete will be moved to an alternate position. FUNDRAISING Oregon Dream Teams offers the following: • A new fundraiser every 5-6 weeks. These are individual fundraisers and all credits will be credited directly to your account. These fundraisers do involve extra work outside of cheer but we have seen people pay for an entire season of cheer! We strongly suggest you participate in fundraising. • Any surplus in fundraising credits can be applied to Classes, Teams and Merchandise. • Refund checks can not be issued in the event of a surplus. COMPETITION ETIQUETTE • Your dedication and support is just as important to us and your child. • We encourage all parents to sit together and cheer on Oregon Dream Teams’ teams at competitions. We also suggest you show up wearing Oregon Dream Teams clothes to support the athletes. • Showing respect for the coaching staff, other teams and hosting organizations is expected as you are representing Oregon Dream Teams and your child.
