Autumn and winter. The best time to plant and planting at this time of year it enables
trees to settle in before spring. Allwood has had an excellent growing season and
because our site at 913 Shands Road is relatively exposed trees have hardened up to
windy conditions.
We have a great range of trees available and the catalogue lists a selection of trees that
are available for planting immediately. Not all trees are listed.
Huge Range of Trees - Excellent Value
With approximately 10,000 trees available we can assist with most enquiries. All
measurements for trunk caliper and height are minimums for the container size quoted.
Prices listed are GST inclusive.
We do not list all available trees in the catalogue so if you are looking for particular trees
that are not listed, phone or email your enquiry, and we will respond promptly. The great
team here at Allwood can help with almost any tree related matter.

We can help with:
Delivery and Planting. Allwood Trees have a delivery only, or a delivery and planting
service. We are able to assist with advice on suitable trees and shrubs for all sites.
Garden or landscape design. Do you have an upcoming landscape project. Allwood has
a soft landscape design service that is cost effective and provides a plant list as part of
the service.
Landscape projects. Allwood is able to undertake soft landscape work (lawns, gardens,
planting) and can organize construction of decks, fences, pergola’s etc. for your landscape
project taking the hassle out of organizing and completing your landscape project.

Terms & Conditions of Sale
Deposit
A minimum deposit of 50% is required on confirmation of order, unless otherwise negotiated. This deposit is
non-refundable.
Payment
Where customers do not have an established credit account with Allwood Trees, payment is to be made
when orders are collected, or before the order is freighted. Where customers have established credit
arrangements, payment is due under normal commercial terms, i.e. payment of invoice is due on the 20th
day of the month following the date of our invoice.
Allwood Trees may, at its discretion, forward details of any amounts outstanding and overdue for payment,
to a debt collection agency for the purpose of collection of all monies owing. Should Allwood Trees use the
services of a debt collection agency the costs of using the agency shall be added to the outstanding debt
balance.
Property
Any product supplied remains the property of Allwood Trees until the customer has made payment in full of
all costs, including the purchase price and any other fees incurred.
Warranty
We take the greatest care and pride in producing trees to be of merchantable quality and to be true
to name and description, however no warranty, implied or expressed can be given as to description or
performance. Allwood Trees has no control over a trees physical environment once it leaves the nursery
therefore we cannot warrant growth. Allwood Trees does not undertake to replace failures.
Planting
Allwood Trees takes all care and uses accepted horticultural practices when planting. It is the responsibility
of Allwood Trees clients to ensure the planting site is clear and free from obstructions. Where additional
work is required when planting Allwood Trees reserves the right to charge for additional work undertaken.
Holding Cost
Allwood Trees is willing to hold trees for a period of 2 months at no charge. A fee of $10.00 per month per
tree held will apply after the initial two months.
Freight
Freight can be arranged for trees to be delivered anywhere in New Zealand. Freight costs are charged at
cost with packaging charges charged according to requirements. All freight is F.O.B., except where Allwood
Trees delivers or plants trees. The responsibility for insurance cover against loss or damage during transit
shall be the responsibility of the customer.
