3 program STRUCTURE This level of training comprises of 5 phases of learning spanning 3 Modules over 6 weeks 1 Learning Lab 10 virtual classes I 2 hours per class This offers students a deeper conceptual understanding on how to create a perspective shift. 10 virtual classes over 6 weeks 2 Competency Lab 2 hours per class This is an in-depth study on the core competencies and you will learn how to employ a systematic approach to demonstrate the behaviors markers. 8 practice sessions over 6 weeks 3 Peer Practice 2 hours per practice This provides a safe learning environment to demonstrate with your understanding and receive feedback. 3 mentoring sessions 4 Mentoring 90 mins per session This is customized one-to-one learning session where the mentor coach provides feedback on your growth opportunities. 12 sessions over 8 weeks 5 Practical Lab 2 hours per session The purpose is to integrate the conceptual learning to real-life application. 3
4 LEARNING lab This level of training comprises of 5 phases of learning spanning Understanding Transformative Shift At the core of this module rests the idea that it is important to nurture thinking and make it visible. We will examine the role of intuition and perception and provide participant with an opportunity to explore the coaching process more deeply. This enables both the coach and the client to become intentional and masterful learners. You can expect to develop advanced competence in attending and responding at the moment, and to the client's language uncovering how meaning is constructed. Personal Mastery: Inner Journey + Authentic Presence + Deep Listening Cultivating an authentic presence is at the core of transformative coaching. By directing our awareness inwards to focus on the present moment, we become more aware of disempowering thoughts. This state of being allows us to suspend our agendas and judgments and witness the experience as it unfolds. It also enables coaches to expand their listening capacity to heighten their awareness and sensitivity to future opportunities. Facilitating Clarity: Clean Language + Metaphorical Language The Clean and Metaphorical Language process is a technique designed to enable clients to discover more about their inner world and how they construct meaning. This is a powerful and organic way to extract understanding where your clients become aware of what they currently know and discover new things they do not already consciously know.
5 COMPETENCY lab This level of training comprises of 5 phases of learning spanning Establish Coaching Agreement Partners with the client to create clear agreements about the coaching relationship, process, plans and goals. Establishes agreements for the overall coaching engagement as well as those for each coaching session. Cultivate Trust & Safety Partners with the client to create a safe, supportive environment that allows the client to share freely. Maintains a relationship of mutual respect and trust. Maintain Coaching Presence Is fully conscious and present with the client, employing a style that is open, flexible, grounded and confident. Listen Actively Focuses on what the client is and is not saying to fully understand what is being communicated in the context of the client systems and to support client self- expression. Evoke Awareness Facilitates client insight and learning by using tools and techniques such as powerful questioning, silence, metaphor or analogy. Facilitate Learning & Growth Partners with the client to transform learning and insight into action. Promotes client autonomy in the coaching process.
6 REQUIREMENT for completion The requirement for completion is as follows: • Complete the pre-course reading assignment • Maintain 70% attendance for Learning Lab and Competency Lab • Attend 12 supervised practical coaching sessions • Submit 2 coaching conversations demonstrating the PCC skillset • Submit 2 PCC Marker Assessments
