NarrAction TILIADE TRAINERS ANNE MERLIN Anne is a creativity explorer. Whilst studying visual arts and interaction design in France, she discovered the magic of mixing media through creative coding and interactive books. Excited about the whole thing, she cofounded Nomadways NGO (www.nomadways.org) in 2014, where she started crafting and animating workshops mixing performing and visual arts, to explore new ways to co-create and learn in Europe and beyond. In the meantime, she lived in Greece, Brazil, Seychelles, Portugal and many more countries, experimenting with ever more creative ways to interact and discover one another in multilingual or non verbal settings. Along the way, she collected myriads of tools & methods for collaborative creation, specializing in storytelling, team dynamics and project design using art, move- ment and stories to foster cooperation & social action. MAXIME LINDON Maxime Lindon is a screenwriter experienced in animating youth workshops. His approach to video is based on a double background and knowledge: cinema & marketing. In the last 6 years he also created and/or coordinated commercial video contents and independent cinema projects. He cofounded Orango Films, an independent videomaking studio. He percieves his job as listening to people film ideas and helping them turn them into expres- sive doable projects with driven storytelling and open source tools. 3.
NarrAction TILIADE LOCATION The training is taking place in France, in Occitanie region, near the village of Lalbenque: https://g.page/Poudally?share YOUR HOME We have chosen a privileged living environment close to nature in the heart of the Quercy Natural Causes Park, so we want to strive as much as possible towards eco-responsible behavior and ecotourism. The guest house where NarrAction happens is called Gîte Pou- dally, in Lalbenque. There are 9 bedrooms or 30 beds, plus a big reception tent in the gar- den. You will be accommodated in shared rooms with participants. Sheets are provided and we kindly ask you to bring your own toiletry. Vegetarian meals will be prepared by a cook for the whole duration of the activities. Note that there are no shop, nor ATM in the village, so we advise you to bring any special item that you might need during our time together (tobacco, chocolate...). The dining room is a large modern room (90 m2) with large windows to the outside. This room can accommodate the 30 guests in place seated at the same time thanks to our homemade «industrial» type tables and our 30 colorful chairs. Adjoining the dining room is a large 70m2 terrace with tables and bench. In the dining room there is a lounge area with board games (giant mikado, molky, shuffleboard, abalone, jungle speed, werewolves, pirates, trivial pursuits, ...) Outside, the garden is 1500m2, in the heart of nature in the heart of a dry valley classified natura 2000. WIFI is free and accessible in the common areas (not in the bedrooms). LIMOUSIN The Limousin is a region of hills, valleys, rivers and low mountains. It is one of the most beautiful and most rural regions of France. Its biggest human center is Limoges with 140 000 inhabitants. Brive la Gaillarde, the region’s second city, has just under 50 000 inhabi- tants, and is the closest big city from Brivezac, 40km away. Once a Roman city, Limoges was renowned in the Middle Ages as a centre of arts and culture. In the nineteenth century, it became famed throughout Europe, and beyond, for its porcelaine. Limoges has a large beautiful historic quarter, with narrow streets and many fine half-timbered houses. Brive-la- Gaillarde, on the river Corrèze is an attractive small city, with a historic centre built in the pale honey coloured local stone. Rural Limousin is a land of deciduous woods and fields in the west and northwest, of sheep grazing land in the north, and an upland area of spruce forests and grazing land on the Plateau de Millevaches (the plateau of the thousand springs, not the thousand cows – there are many more than that!) in the east. In the south west, the region borders the river Dordogne, that cuts through the south west of the region, after several kilometres where, in its steep wooded valley, it forms the border with the neighbouring region of Auvergne. 4.
