TOYOTA TUNDRA GIVEAWAY SWEEPSTAKES
(the "Sweepstakes")
OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN.
SWEEPSTAKES VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTICTED BY LAW. The details of the Prizes and how to enter
the Sweepstakes are contained in these Official Rules. In order to be eligible to win the Sweepstakes Prize and to
receive an opportunity to win any Bonus Prizes (as set forth in these Official Rules), Winner must be able to attend
Game 1, and if applicable, any additional Game(s), and must be able to participate in any on-ice Bonus
Event(s) and if applicable, the Grand Prize Event (as set forth herein).
ELIGIBILITY. The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents who reside in the California Counties of Los Angeles,
San Bernardino, Kern, Orange or Riverside, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and are California
licensed drivers throughout the Promotion Period and at the time of awarding of the Grand Prize. Void where
prohibited by law. Employees of The Los Angeles Kings Hockey Club, L.P. (“Sponsor”), Anschutz Entertainment
Group, Inc., L.A. Arena Company, LLC, L.A. Arena Funding, LLC, National Hockey League (NHL), or Southern
California Toyota Dealers Advertising Association (“Toyota”), or their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or
promotion agencies are not eligible, nor are members of these employees' families (defined as parents, children,
siblings, spouse, and life partners) and members of the same household, whether or not related. Winners will need
to show proof of age and residency. Grand Prize winner will need to provide proof of valid California driver’s license
and insurance to be awarded and receive prize. If required, Grand Prize Winner (as defined herein) may have to
pass a background and/or credit check confirming their ability to comply with the terms of the Grand Prize.
TIMING. The Sweepstakes begins at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time (“PDT”) on October 21, 2022 and ends at 11:59
p.m. PDT November 2, 2022 (the "Promotion Period").
TO ENTER. There is one (1) way to enter the Sweepstakes – online. Limit one (1) entry per person, per e-mail
address, and per household
• Online: You can enter the Sweepstakes online at LAKings.com/Toyotagiveaway during the Promotion
Period (as defined above) and follow the instructions on the screen. Entrant must provide all required
information in order to be eligible. Limit of one (1) entry per person, per e-mail address, and per household.
Multiple entries received from any person or e-mail address or household in excess of the stated limitation
will be void. Any attempt by a person to enter with multiple email accounts may result in disqualification at
the discretion of Sponsor upon verification of prize winner. Sponsor, Anschutz Entertainment Group, Inc.,
L.A. Arena Company, LLC, L.A. Arena Funding, LLC, Toyota, and the NHL are not responsible for lost, late,
incomplete, garbled, illegible, or misdirected Sweepstakes entries, or for any error, human, technical or
otherwise, which may occur in the processing of Sweepstakes entries. Proof of sending will not be deemed
to be proof of receipt. All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or
returned. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods will void all such entries by
such methods.
Sponsor, Anschutz Entertainment Group, Inc., L.A. Arena Company, LLC, LA Arena Funding, LLC, NHL, Toyota, and
all other Released Parties (defined below) are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, garbled, illegible, or
misdirected Sweepstakes entries, or for any error, human, technical or otherwise, which may occur in the processing
of Sweepstakes entries. Proof of sending will not be deemed to be proof of receipt. All entries become the exclusive
property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
USE OF DATA. Sponsor will be collecting personal data about participants (including, without limitation, name, phone
number, mailing address, age, and e-mail addresses) when they enter the Sweepstakes online. Sponsor is entitled to
use personal data contained in all entry forms, on-line or otherwise, in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy. By
participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants hereby agree to all personal information uses and disclaimers as explained
in Sponsor’s Privacy Policy located at https://www.nhl.com/kings/team/privacy-policy and Sponsor’s Terms of Use
located at: https://cms.nhl.bamgrid.com/images/assets/binary/321343204/binary-file/file.pdf (both of which are
incorporated herein by reference.AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES. Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes entrant's full and unconditional
agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and Sponsor's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use and to be
contacted by telephone and/or email.
SELECTION OF SWEEPSTAKES WINNER. Sixty-four (64) winners of the Sweepstakes (each a “Sweepstakes
Winner” and collectively, the “Sweepstakes Winners”) will be selected in a random drawing to be held on or about
November 4, 2022 from all eligible entries received by the Sponsor during the Promotion Period. Sweepstakes
Winners will be notified via telephone or email as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. If a potential
Sweepstakes Winner cannot be contacted within two (2) hours after the first attempt by Sponsor to contact such
potential Sweepstakes Winner, an alternate Sweepstakes Winner will be selected in his or her place at random from
all remaining eligible entries received.
Each Winner (as set forth herein) must comply with all terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules and
winning and award of prizes is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. The decisions of Sponsor, including the
selection of Winners, is final and binding on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the
number of eligible entries received during the entire Promotion Period.
SWEEPSTAKES PRIZES.
Each Sweepstakes Winner will receive two (2) upper-level tickets for use by Sweepstakes Winner and one (1) guest
to attend a designated LA Kings home game taking place between November 8, 2022 through March 26, 2023
(“Game 1”) at Crypto.com Arena (“Arena”) in Los Angeles, CA. Game 1 to be designated by Sponsor and determined
by the order in which the Sweepstakes Winner is selected (exact location of tickets to be determined by Sponsor in its
sole determination) (the “Sweepstakes Prize”). Total Approximate Retail Value of each Sweepstakes Prize: $70.00.
ARV of all Sweepstakes Prizes: $4,480.00.
To be eligible, Sweepstakes Winners must be able to attend the Game 1 as designated by Sponsor and
compete in an on-ice competition for Bonus Prize(s) as set forth below.
In the event that any Sweepstakes Winner(s) does not attend Game 1 or any additional Game to which they
receive tickets or cannot participate in any applicable on-ice Bonus Event at such Game(s) as set forth below
for any reason, Sponsor may, in its discretion, select an additional participant(s) in a random selection
during the applicable Game, so that there will be sufficient participants to compete in the on-ice Bonus
Event. All such participant(s) must meet all eligibility requirements as set forth in and consent to these
Official Rules and will be treated as Sweepstakes Winner(s) in accordance herewith.
BONUS EVENTS/BONUS PRIZES.
During each designated Game 1, four (4) Sweepstakes Winners must compete against each other in an on-ice
Toyota Intermission Game, which will consist of an on-ice curling competition (each a “Bonus 1 Event”).
Sweepstakes Winners must curl a stone across the ice and the Sweepstakes Winner whose stone comes closest to a
selected target as determined by Sponsor will be declared a winner (each a “Bonus 1 Prize Winner” and collectively,
the “Bonus 1 Prize Winners”). Sixteen (16) Bonus 1 Prize Winners will be determined during the Bonus 1
Event. Each of the sixteen (16) Bonus 1 Prize Winners will receive: (i) two (2) upper-level tickets for use by the
Bonus 1 Prize Winner and one (1) guest to attend the LA Kings home game taking place on April 4, 2023 (“Game 2”)
at Crypto.com Arena and (ii) one (1) LA Kings t-shirts (each a “Bonus 1 Prize” and collectively, the “Bonus 1 Prizes”).
ARV of each Bonus 1 Prize $95.00. ARV of all Bonus 1 Prizes: $1,520.00.
During Game 2, the sixteen (16) Bonus 1 Prize Winners must compete against each other in an on-ice Toyota
Intermission Game (“Bonus 2 Event”). Eight (8) winners will be determined during the Bonus 2 Event (each a
“Bonus 2 Prize Winner” and collectively, the “Bonus 2 Prize Winners”). Each Bonus 2 Prize Winner will receive two
(2) upper-level tickets for use by Bonus 2 Prize Winner and one (1) guest to attend the LA Kings home game taking
place on April 8, 2023 (“Game 3”) at Crypto.com Arena (each a “Bonus 2 Prize” and collectively, the “Bonus 2
Prizes”). ARV of each Bonus 2 Prize: $70.00. ARV of all Bonus 2 Prizes: $560.00.
During Game 3, the eight (8) Bonus 2 Prize Winners must compete against each other in an on-ice Toyota
Intermission Game (“Bonus 3 Event”). Four (4) winners will be determined during the Bonus 3 Event (each a
“Bonus 3 Prize Winner” and collectively, the “Bonus 3 Prize Winners”). Each Bonus 3 Prize Winner will receive two
(2) upper-level tickets for use by Bonus 3 Prize Winner and one (1) guest to attend the LA Kings home game taking
place on April 10, 2023 (“Game 4”) at Crypto.com Arena (each a “Bonus 3 Prize” and collectively, the “Bonus 3
Prizes”). ARV of each Bonus 3 Prize: $70.00. ARV of all Bonus 3 Prizes: $280.00.
2During Game 4, the four (4) Bonus 3 Prize Winners must compete in an on-ice Toyota Intermission Game occurring
during the first intermission of the LA Kings home game taking place on April 10, 2023 at Crypto.com Arena
(“Bonus 4 Event”). Two (2) winners will be determined during the Bonus 4 Event (each a “Bonus 4 Prize Winner”
and collectively, the “Bonus 4 Prize Winners”). The two (2) Bonus 4 Prize Winners will then compete in a second
on-ice Toyota Intermission Game during Game 4 (“Grand Prize Event”). One (1) grand prize winner (“Grand Prize
Winner”) will be determined during the Grand Prize Event.
In the event of a tie during any Bonus 1 Event, Bonus 2 Event, Bonus 3 Event, Bonus 4 Event or the Grand Prize
Event, the tied participants will continue to compete in a manner determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion until the
Winner is determined.
GRAND PRIZE
One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive the following: (i) one (1) 2023 Toyota Tundra; (ii) one (1) LA Kings jersey;
and (iii) one (1) LA Kings hat (total approximate retail value of the Grand Prize – not to exceed US $43,195.00).
Grand Prize Winner is solely responsible for all applicable taxes, insurance costs, surcharges, registration, title, and
license fees and other costs incurred in claiming, registering or using the vehicle, and operating and maintaining the
vehicle. Vehicle includes standard features; any additional options, if available, are Grand Prize Winner’s
responsibility and expense. Interior and exterior color of vehicle is subject to availability and at the sole discretion of
Toyota. The year, make, model or color of any vehicle displayed or pictured in promotional/advertising materials may
not be the actual vehicle awarded. Grand Prize Winner will be required to personally accept delivery of the vehicle
from a local dealership or location as determined by Sponsor and Toyota. At time of delivery, Grand Prize Winner will
need to provide valid California driver’s license, proof of insurance/ registration and necessary fees as outlined
above. Vehicle delivery/availability may take up to three (3) months. Failure to accept possession of vehicle within
thirty (30) days notification of vehicle's availability for delivery may result in Grand Prize forfeiture in Sponsor’s and
Toyota’s discretion. Grand Prize Winner acknowledges that the Sponsor and each of the other Released Parties
(defined below) has neither made nor is in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or
guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the Grand Prize, including but not limited to its quality,
merchantability, mechanical condition or fitness for any particular purpose, except for any express manufacturer’s
warranty as may be included with the Grand Prize. Grand Prize Winner is not entitled to any rebates.
The Grand Prize Winner must be a licensed California driver or motor vehicle operator and will be required to
produce evidence of a valid California driver’s license and insurance certificate prior to tendering of the
vehicle to the Grand Prize Winner.
No substitutions, cash equivalents or transfers of Grand Prize are permitted by the Grand Prize Winner. The actual
style, model, make, color, design and features of the Grand Prize may vary from any depictions of it in the
Sweepstakes promotion materials. The applicable Grand Prize provider will determine the style, model, make, color,
design and features including but not limited to interior and exterior features. No more than (1) Grand Prize will be
awarded. The Sponsor will deliver the Grand Prize to the dealership closest to the Grand Prize Winner’s address as
set forth in his/her registration.
CONSOLATION PRIZES.
• The eight (8) participants who do not win the Bonus 2 Event will each receive: (i) one (1) LA Kings puck
signed by one or more members of the LA Kings as determined by Sponsor, and (ii) one (1) LA Kings hat
(“Consolation 1 Prize”). ARV of each Consolation 1 Prize: $35.00. ARV of all Consolation 1 Prizes: 280.00.
• The four (4) participants who do not win the Bonus 3 Event will each receive: (i) one (1) LA Kings hockey
stick signed by one (1) or more members of the LA Kings as determined by Sponsor and (ii) one (1) LA
Kings bag (“Consolation 2 Prize”). ARV of each Consolation 2 Prize: $85.00. ARV of all Consolation 2
Prizes: $340.00.
• The two (2) participants who do not win the Bonus 4 Event will each receive: (i) one (1) LA Kings Jersey
signed by one or more members of the LA Kings as determined by Sponsor and (ii) one (1) LA Kings bag
(“Consolation 3 Prize”). ARV of each Consolation 3 Prize: $245.00. ARV of all Consolation 3 Prizes:
$490.00.
• The one (1) participant who does not win the Grand Prize Event (“Grand Prize Runner-Up”) will receive: (i)
one (1) LA Kings Reverse Retro Jersey signed by one (1) or more members of the LA Kings as determined
by Sponsor; (ii) one (1) LA Kings bag; (iii) one (1) LA Kings hat; and (iv) one (1) LA Kings puck signed by
3one or more members of the LA Kings as determined by Sponsor (“Consolation 4 Prize”). ARV of
Consolation 4 Prize: $305.00.
Sweepstakes Winners, Bonus 1 Prize Winners, Bonus 2 Prize Winners, Bonus 3 Prize Winners, Bonus 4 Prize
Winners, and Grand Prize Winner, hereinafter each a “Winner” and collectively, the “Winners”.
Sweepstakes Prizes, Bonus 1 Prizes, Bonus 2 Prizes, Bonus 3 Prizes, Consolation Prizes and Grand Prize,
hereinafter each a “Prize” and collectively, the “Prizes”.
Each Winner is solely responsible for any personal expenses related to attending any Game, including, but not limited
to, travel to and from Crypto.com Arena, parking, gratuities, food and beverages and any other expenses of a
personal nature which are not included above. Each Winner’s guest must be of legal age of majority in their
jurisdiction of residence, unless accompanied by his/her parent or legal guardian. EACH WINNER MUST BE
ABLE TO ATTEND ANY GAMES FOR WHICH THEY WIN TICKETS AND COMPETE IN THE ON-ICE
COMPETITION(S) FOR BONUS PRIZE(S) IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE TO WIN THE PRIZE AND TO BE
ELIGIBLE TO WIN ANY BONUS PRIZE OR THE GRAND PRIZE (AS DESCRIBED BELOW).
In the event that the Grand Prize Winner is not eligible Sponsor may in its discretion award the Grand Prize to the
Grand Prize Runner Up.
The potential Grand Prize Winner will be subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the Official Rules as
stated herein before being named official Grand Prize Winner of the Sweepstakes.
Sponsor’s and/or administrator’s decisions are final and binding in all respects to this Sweepstakes. No participant or
any winner shall have the right to contest any decision by the Sponsor or Sponsor’s judging organization concerning
any aspect of the Sweepstakes or the interpretation of the Official Rules or determination as to the qualification of
entries into the Sweepstakes.
Approximate retail value of all Prizes not to exceed $51,450.00.
Except where otherwise expressly noted in these Official Rules, the selection of all vendors, prizes, products and
services is subject to the Sponsors' sole and absolute discretion. The Prizes (and/or any portion thereof) are
nontransferable and non-exchangeable. No refunds or credit for changes are allowed. No substitutions or cash
redemption of Prizes are permitted except that Sponsor retains the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater retail
value (or at Sponsor's election, the cash value of the applicable Prize or Bonus Prize). Additional restrictions may
apply.
WAIVER OF LIABILITY/PUBLICITY RELEASE. Except where prohibited by law, Winner and any guest of Winner
grants to Sponsor and those authorized by it, including its advertising agencies, the right to use and publish their
photo, proper name, likeness, performance, participation in on-ice events, voice, opinions, biographical information
and state and city of residence in any media to promote Sponsor and/or the Sweepstakes without additional
compensation.
By entering the Sweepstakes, claiming or using any Prize, or participating in any Prize related activity, participants,
Winners and any guest of Winners release, indemnify, and hold harmless Sponsor, Anschutz Entertainment Group,
Inc., L.A. Arena Company, LLC, L.A. Arena Funding, LLC, NHL, and Toyota, their respective subsidiaries, affiliates,
directors, officers, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability for any
injuries, losses, illnesses, and damages of any kind, including death, arising from or in connection with the
Sweepstakes, the In-Arena Competition or the receipt or use and/or misuse of any Prize or attending any Prize
related activities. Unless prohibited by applicable law, each entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the
liability of Sponsor and the other Released Parties (if any) will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the
Sweepstakes, and in no event shall the Sponsor or the other Released Parties be liable for attorneys’ fees, punitive,
consequential, direct or indirect damages and each entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever. The
Winner shall bear all risk of loss or damage to their Prize after it has been delivered.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, PRIZES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT
WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND THE RELEASED PARTIES HEREBY
DISCLAIM ALL SUCH WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND/OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Sponsor shall have discretion in designating the games at which certain prizes will be offered.
4All federal, state and local taxes related to the Prizes are the sole responsibility of Winner or any Bonus Prize Winner,
including, without limitation, the Grand Prize Winner, who will be issued a 1099 for the retail value of the Grand
Prize. All other expenses and costs, not expressly listed above, including but not limited to taxes, and any other
expense or cost, not expressly included above, are the Winner's sole responsibility.
Potential winner must execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability, Publicity and W9 within the
time period identified by Sponsor. Noncompliance within this time period may result in disqualification, and an
alternate winner may be selected. Return of any Prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and
selection of an alternate winner. In addition, by accepting or using the Prize and/or by attending any Prize related
activity, each guest of a Winner agrees to be bound by these Official Rules.
GENERAL CONDITIONS. The Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California,
excluding conflicts of laws principles. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Sweepstakes
void outside of California and where prohibited. Sweepstakes may only be entered in or from California and entries
originating from any other jurisdiction are not eligible for entry.
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud or any other factor impairs the integrity of the
Sweepstakes as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Without limiting the foregoing, if, in the Sponsor's
opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the
Sweepstakes, or if technical difficulties otherwise compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves
the right in its sole discretion to void any entries at issue (including disqualifying any individual who tampers or
otherwise interferes with the entry process), and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes, in whole
or in part, at any time without notice. In the event of such cancellation, Sponsor reserves the right to award Prizes in a
random drawing from all eligible entries received before the time of cancellation. Sponsor in no way promotes illegal
acts, and any and all entries which include or promote illegal acts will be disqualified.
Neither Sponsor nor any other Released Party assumes any responsibility for any error, omission, interruption,
deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, theft or destruction of unauthorized access to, or alternation of,
entries.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE
THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL
LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK
DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. ANY SUCH
PERSON MAY ALSO BE REPORTED TO LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITIES FOR APPROPRIATE ACTION.
Entrants hereby agree that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and
enforceability of these Official Rules, entrants’ rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of Sponsor in
connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of
California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of California or any other
jurisdiction), that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than California. Entrants further
consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of California courts (state and federal) in Los Angeles County for any
causes or controversies arising out of the Sweepstakes. Each Winner waives any and all objections to jurisdiction
and venue in these courts. Entrants further agree that: (i) that any and all disputes the entrant may have with, or
claims entrant may have against, the Released Parties relating to, arising out of or connected in any way with (a) the
Sweepstakes, (b) the awarding or redemption of any prize, and/or (c) the determination of the scope or applicability of
this agreement to arbitrate, will be resolved exclusively by final and binding arbitration administered by either the
National Arbitration Forum (“NAF”) or the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”), as selected by the entrant. and
conducted before a sole arbitrator in accordance with its rules; (ii) this arbitration agreement is made pursuant to a
transaction involving interstate commerce, and shall be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act (“FAA”), 9 U.S.C. §§
1-16; (iii) the arbitration shall be held in Los Angeles, California; (iv) the arbitrator’s decision shall be controlled by the
terms and conditions of these Official Rules; (v) the arbitrator shall apply California law consistent with the FAA and
applicable statutes of limitations, and shall honor claims of privilege recognized at law; (vi) there shall be no authority
for any claims to be arbitrated on a class or representative basis, arbitration can decide only entrant’s and/or
Sponsor’s individual claims; the arbitrator may not consolidate or join the claims of other persons or parties who may
be similarly situated; (vii) the arbitrator shall not have the power to award punitive damages against the entrant or
Sponsor; (viii) if the entrant is able to demonstrate that the costs of arbitration will be prohibitive as compared to the
costs of litigation, Sponsor will pay as much of entrant’s filing and hearing fees in connection with the arbitration as
the arbitrator deems necessary to prevent the arbitration from being cost-prohibitive; (viii) no arbitration award or
decision will have any preclusive effect as to issues or claims in any dispute with anyone who is not a named party to
the arbitration and (x) with the exception of subpart (vi) above, if any part of this arbitration provision is deemed to be
invalid, unenforceable or illegal, or otherwise conflicts with the rules of NAF/AAA, then the balance of this arbitration
provision shall remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with its terms as if the invalid, unenforceable,
5illegal or conflicting provision were not contained herein. If, however, subpart (vi) is found to be invalid,
unenforceable or illegal, then the entirety of this arbitration provision shall be null and void, and neither entrant nor
Sponsor shall be entitled to arbitrate their dispute. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR
EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO PORTIONS OF THE ABOVE
MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
