DEAR CUSTOMERS AND PARTNERS, COVID-19 and its impact mean that some of us will look back on 2020 as a “lost” year. Luckily our industry overall seems to be more crisis-proof than others, allowing us to look forward to a future which will once again be successful. The past months have been challenging for everyone, forcing us to develop new approaches for our communications, product sales, business models and working environments. Live events were impossible for a long period of time, however this generated new ideas and concepts, many based on digital technology. The accelerated trend is set to continue and we too will focus our attention on developing such offerings in our portfolio. Going forward there can be no doubt that live events such as fairs, congresses, symposiums and workshops – accompanied and supplemented by digital events – will regain their status as important communication and sales platforms for our industry. Current surveys show that the industry is clearly in favour of this. We too have significantly expanded our portfolio of digital events and have, for example, been able to hold a number of high-quality congresses as successful purely online events. All congresses were accompanied by crossmedia campaigns and have prepared the ground for future crossmedia events. Over and over again we have been able to demonstrate our strength in the triad of print media, online media and live communication. crossmedia connectivity is the key to success – both for us and for you, the beauty industry businesses which carry out advertising! We have developed a range of new offerings for 2021 and we would like to recommend them to you in addition to the tried-and-tested communication products included in this media kit. The print runs for some of the existing print media will also be adjusted. In addition to this, we have used the corona period to update and reorganize our data files. Based on this work and also to save costs, we will be reducing the number of free issues and marketing mailers which we send out in future. The BEAUTY FORUM NAILPRO will be relaunched in a new, more stylish form. A new title and new content which expands the target reader group plus more options for extra content will give the magazine fresh impetus. The detailed concept will be available soon, with the relaunch planned for 2021. Our online offerings have developed well in recent years, steadily expanding their range while also being continuously improved. Challenges in this segment include the handling of multiple Google updates every year, each of which make adjustments necessary. In future we plan to use professional SEO tools and carry out more keyword optimization of content. As you can see, we are always responding to current issues and are thus well equipped to emerge from the 2020 crisis stronger than ever before and with the confidence that, working together with you, we can shape the industry’s future.
