JP Morgan: first to create cryptocurrency o US investment bank, JP Morgan Chase became the first US bank to offer its own cryptocurrency. o The cryptocurrency, called 'JPM Coin' will always have a value equivalent to one US dollar. o It will be initially used internally between JPMorgan Chase's wholesale business clients. o The bank had also built an Ethereum-based blockchain platform for business customers in 2018.
