Whether your child is attending school in-person or digitally, being present & actively engaged in classes is important.
What can families do to help? ❖ Try to make doctor, dentist, orthodontist appointments after the school day or on days when students do not have school (digitally or in-person). ❖ Check the school calendar on the McClure Health Science HS Website for dates when students are on vacation. Here's our web address: https://www.gcpsk12.org/mcclurehealthsciencehs ❖ If your child wakes up late, they can still come to school or log in, and they should email their teacher with any questions! ❖ Please call the Parent Center at 770-806-7911 if you have any questions about attendance. ❖ When your child returns to school, we need a signed note from a parent or guardian explaining the absence. Doctor notes are great, too!
