Cloth nappies for
    newborns

                                                                     Free workshop!
Do you want a hands-on opportunity to check out cloth nappies
and have all your questions answered?
    Cloth nappies have many advantages including reducing the amount of waste sent to landfill;
however the different brands, sizes and fabrics can be confusing. New parents often question
“will my newborn really fit into this nappy?”, “how do I use cloth at night?” and “do you have
    reusable swim nappies?”
Presented by Aline Brion from Green Skills, this workshop and display introduces new parents
to modern cloth nappies. Aline is an environmental scientist, community educator and mum
of four who has used cloth nappies for 10 years!
All welcome – bring the whole family.

Introduction to
     permaculture

                                                                      Free workshop!
Are you new to gardening, do you grow your vegetables or have you
been gardening for decades? Have you heard about permaculture?
Permaculture design was created in Australia (Tasmania, actually) over 40 years ago and is
a design process drawing from nature to provide a practical, energy efficient and close to
self-sufficient landscape. It is closed loop, holistic and much more than growing food.
This introductory workshop, presented by permaculturalist and educator Fiona Blackham,
brings it back to the basics of permaculture design (not gardening!). You will take home a
head full of ideas and skills on how to look through ‘permaculture design goggles’.
This workshop is suitable for adults and children aged 14 and over.
