T o many South Africans, Mpumalanga is synonymous with the Kruger National Park. It’s where they head for their bushveld breaks, often making a beeline for their destination of choice so as not to miss out on any great game-viewing opportunities. While this is all good and well, Mpumalanga – the place where the sun rises – has so much more to offer travellers! I went along for the ride and found myself enchanted, enthralled and thoroughly energised by the vast array of new and lesser-known experiences on offer. Here are a few of my favourites: 52 | October 2018 | www.flymango.com
