THE SAPPHIRE FOUNDATION THE CORONA SERIES We are an organisation that aims too reconstruct a broken world. We represent hope, love and life. “I started this organisation, because I believe in creating world leaders and nation shakers. I believe in creating the impossible. I believe in reconstructing the world as we know it and dominating law and order. I want to empower, inspire and empower young people to achieve greatness. Sapphire is a safe home. Sapphire is a place where you are not judged for being yourself. Sapphire is a creative hub. Sapphire is a place where we birth legacies. Sapphire is a place to express yourself and create something that has never been done.”
THE SAPPHIRE FOUNDATION: THE CORONA SERIES SECTION ONE: SAPPHIRE OVERVIEW The Sapphire Community Group. We were founded in 2015 as Sapphire Ministries and as of November 2017, we rebranded to the Sapphire Community Group which is our Social Enterprise Arm. In June 2018, we opened up our Charity arm called The Sapphire Foundation. In 2020 we have rebranded completely and opened The Sapphire Foundation in Nigeria and we have combined all previous names to solely operate as The Sapphire Foundation. Lastly we have opened up a business that will fund our community work called The Sapphire Delivery ( I Sabi Send You). We are an organisation that aims to restore, revive and rebuild a divided generation. We are an organisation that accepts everyone and encourages individuals to be their truest self. We work with the 10-30 year olds around the world and we instil the message of love but most of all worth. We have over 4 years of experience and till date we have worked with over 3000 young people till date, especially those from minority and disadvantaged backgrounds. The Sapphire Community Group and foundation aims to equip young people to not only be the their best version of themselves but to also inspire them to have a genuine insight of what they will like to pursue in the near future. More importantly, the community group is put in place to make a major contribution to those whose voice has been silenced and ensuring that they understand and fulfil their purpose. We are an organisation that seeks to empower and stabilise a segregated community. The sole purpose of The Sapphire Community Group is to build people up. Moreover, to ensure that each individual finds what they are meant to do in life. Through mentoring, coaching, literature, entertainment, events and workshops; we aim to provide a platform and pathway for young people all over the world find their callings. Additionally, we will attempt to help each individual believe that they can create a change for the extraordinary. We aim to teach and inspire individuals to believe in themselves and see their full potential. We have multiple young people roaming the streets, because they believe that the world has given up on them or they believe that they do not have what it takes to create the impossible. So The Sapphire Group is stepping in to give a voice to the voiceless. The Sapphire Community Group is here to tell our young, that they are good enough! And that there is nothing they cannot achieve if they are willing to go the extra mile to achieve the unattainable today. Corona Series Project Breakdown MARCH 30TH TO MAY 30TH - THE CORONA SERIES It is not over The Battlefield of Life Impacting the world through Media and Literature We find ourselves in a difficult situation as the Covid-19 is putting a strain on the world. All of the world businesses, schools and establishments are shutting down. People have been forced to go on a lockdown to try and minimise the spread of the virus. People have now been bound in their homes on weeks on end. We are not allowed to leave the house for more than an hour or two. Many people have already began to loose their minds. Many people live alone with no one to speak to. Fear and deaths are on the rise and it seems like there is no hope on the horizon. Sapphire cannot sit back and watch things happen. In these difficult times, we believe that sharing a story is a powerful way to stay connected and to keep our spirits high. I have designed a way that we can hopefully help our world bounce back from this world epidemic. We aim to use the Corona Series to bring our community together and instil hope. Literature will be using the Online and Print to impact the world. Key focus is getting the young people to get involved in the projects. This platform is solely to build up the next generation of writers and to influence the world with the power of Gods word. Media will be using podcasts and video to impact the world through these dark times. From March 30th to May 30th - The Sapphire Community Group will be coming to you online through the media and literature to motivate, inspire and empower you through the dark times of the Covid-19 battle. We aim to spread love and inspiration 7 days a week at 6pm. We will not keep silent but meet you where you are and maybe for 1 to 2 hours, we can stop the disease infiltrating your minds and stealing your hopes of a better future. Today there is 529,614 confirmed cases globally and 25,714 deaths. Africa so far has seen the lowest amount of cases. Africa has the worse medical facilities compared to other countries and we want to give them a fighting chance. There is no free medical support or
free care for the people in Nigeria. We have had news that they are charging over N1,000,000 which equals £2000 just to get screened for the disease. Things are not easy especially for those who are in need. To get hand sanitisers and face masks has become a rare commodity. Estimates show in 2019 that there is over 190 Million people alone in Nigeria. Poverty rates are on the rise and things do not seem to be getting better. The Sapphire Foundation is making a vow to help provide sanitisers and face masks for only 10,000 people. These undeveloped countries need to stand a chance especially in this Covid-19 battle. Hand Sanitizers work out to N500 each = £1 Face Masks work out to N2000 each = £4 for 10 masks We need to raise N5,000,000 = £10,000 for the Sanitisers this will support 10,000 Families and young people Lastly we need to raise N2,000,000 = £4,000 for the Face Masks this will support 10,000 Families and young people Sapphire will be donating £500 but we need your help to raise the remaining funds so that we can help those in Africa have a fighting chance to be prevented from this disease.
