Golf at its Finest Course Information Old Head Golf Links Built on a rocky promontory that pierces its way into the Atlantic, this course is simply a thrill-seeker’s paradise. Many have called it “Pebble Beach on steroids,” and the first glimpse of the crashing waves some 300 feet below will likely affirm that title. The ocean may take its fair share of Titleists, but with one exhilarating and vertigo-inducing hole after another, you’re unlikely to ever notice. Tralee Golf Links In a land with an abundance of awe inspiring settings for golf, choosing Ireland’s most scenic course is a near impossible task. Yet for many, that course is found on a rugged corner of the Barrow Peninsula at the Tralee Golf Club. Arnold Palmer’s first design in Ireland hugs the coast over the front nine, before turning to the dramatic dunesland for the inward half. Many have compared the links at Tralee to California’s Monterey Peninsula, and it isn’t long into the round before the golfer begins to understand why. Waterville Golf Links Developed by an Irish-born American, and seated on a narrow peninsula that is surrounded by the Atlantic on three sides, Waterville Golf Links has quickly earned a loyal group of devotees. The setting is inspiring and the golf is equally so, thanks in part to a number of enhancements in recent years by Tom Fazio. Among the many fans of Waterville was Payne Stewart, an adopted son and honorary club captain, whose statue stands near the 18th green. Another was Sam Snead, who once called the links at Waterville “One of the wonders of the golfing world.”
Golf at its Finest Course Information Ballybunion Golf Club In an era which pre-dated golf course architecture as a profession, a relative unknown gifted the golfing world with one of its finest links. Captain Lionel Hewson turned the dramatic landscape he was presented at Ballybunion into a brilliant collection of seaside and inland holes. The graveyard alongside the 1st fairway makes a unique introduction, but it’s the trips to the sea which will leave a lasting impression. None more so than the 11th hole, which Tom Watson once claimed to be the best par-4 in golf. Lahinch Golf Club After completing his work at Lahinch, Alister Mackenzie deemed it to be “The finest and most popular golf course that I, or I believe anyone else, ever constructed.” The most memorable holes, however, aren’t the work of the Good Doctor, but rather Old Tom Morris. The Klondyke and Dell are world famous, as are the goats turned weathermen that roam the links. All of which, combined with the glorious setting, makes Lahinch one of the rarefied walks on the Emerald Isle. Adare Manor In addition to the painstaking restoration of the 19th century Calendar House, owner J.P. McManus spared no expense in his transformation of the golf course at Adare Manor. Tom Fazio was commissioned to turn what was already a fine parkland course into an inland links worthy of championship play. The exceptional service and course conditioning have inspired many to label it the “Augusta of Ireland.” A reputation which earned Adare Manor a slot on the world stage as the host of the 2026 Ryder Cup.

The Killarney Park Hotel 3 Nights - Premium Rooms Situated amid ten acres of gardens within an easy stroll of Killarney’s numerous restaurants and pubs, it is the town’s highest rated lodging and has won several awards as the Irish Hotel of the Year. We find it a five-star delight with a cozy bar, exceptional dining, and unmatched service in the town of Killarney. Adare Manor 3 Nights - Deluxe Rooms The story of Adare Manor begins in the 1830’s when the 2nd Earl of Dunraven set out to transform his family home into a masterpiece equal to the great houses of Europe. The home emerged as a rare ‘Calendar House’, with 365 windows, 52 chimneys, and 4 towers to mark the annual tally of days, weeks, and seasons in a year. Fast forward to 2015, Adare Manor was purchased by Irish businessman, J.P. McManus, who promptly began an 18-month transformation of the property, restoring it to the original grandeur envisioned by the Earl of Kildare.
Life at its Best Touring Opportunities Southwest Ireland The Cliffs of Moher Just north of Lahinch, the Cliffs defiantly stand as giant natural ramparts against the aggressive might of the Atlantic Ocean. They rise in places to over 700 feet and stretch for over five miles. O’Brien’s Tower is located on the highest point and offers the best view of the Cliffs, the Aran Islands and mountains as far apart as Kerry and Connemara. Dingle Peninsula If you have the time, this is a worthwhile day trip. Motoring all the way to the tip of the peninsula is rewarded not only with marvelous vistas from atop the cliffs at Slea Head, but also early Christian ruins including the beehive huts, Gallarus Oratory and Kilmakedar Church. Killarney National Park In or near Killarney itself, one can visit the ruins of Muckross Abbey, a 15th century structure sacked by Cromwell's forces, 14th century Ross Castle or the stunning grounds and interior of Muckross House. The latter is an excellent example of the lifestyle of Irish gentry before the revolution. Be sure to admire the panorama from Ladies View, so named after a visit from Queen Victoria’s ladies-in-waiting in 1861. Kinsale One of the oldest and most fashionable resort towns in Ireland, Kinsale is also considered the “Gourmet Capital of Ireland”. You will find plenty of restaurants to satisfy your palate and plenty of views to admire in this sophisticated cosmopolitan seaside town nestled between hills and the shoreline. The maze of narrow, flower decorated streets are not only picturesque but filled with pubs, galleries, cafes, and shops. Ring of Kerry The site of Ireland's greatest drive. Stretching out into the Atlantic Ocean, the Iveragh Peninsula is home to some of the most dramatic scenery in Ireland. Every From Ireland´s loftiest peak to the rugged shoreline, the Ring of Kerry delivers one show-stopping moment after another.
