1 - WELCOME LETTER First of all, we would like to thank you all for your interest in CBS Summer Camp. We are very proud to have accompanied thousands of children in their personal and linguistic learning and to be able to continue growing hand in hand with all the families that have joined us. CBS Summer Camp was founded in 2009 by CBS,The British School of Seville with a great enthusiasm to give a new approach to teaching English through a fun and full summer vacation with a variety of activities. Our project was conceived as a fun way for all children to improve and their spoken language skills. We have a team of English & Spanish monitors with a great experience in teaching languages through a great variety of dynamic activities. The philosophy of our camp lies in teaching in a fun and attractive way in order to motivate students to express themselves in the chosen language in any communicative situation. In this dossier you can find all the information of CBS Summer Camp, including the educational programme, the registration process and the organisation, all thankful to our ten years of experience and dedication. 2 - ABOUT US CBS SUMMER CAMP takes place in July and is organised by CBS, The British School of Seville. We are a compact team and we all have a deep vocation for the world of teaching. Thus, we are all committed to the task of helping and guiding our children in their academic and emotional journey. Our goal is for the children to learn and feel comfortable in a respectful and family environment, so that CBS Summer Camp is an unforgettable experience for them. 3 - CAMP OBJECTIVES The main objective of this camp, aimed at children aged between 5 and 15 years, is to get them to enjoy full summer holidays, learning new sports, and doing leisure activities in a healthy, fun environment. Our aim is for our campers to become familiar with the Spanish language in a natural way and to lose their fear of speaking, using it as the main means of communication in all activities and during the normal routine of a day at camp. All this, we intend to develop in a fun environment, full of surprises and entertainment that makes this camp an unforgettable holiday for children.
4 - LOCATION,
FACILITIES AND
ACCOMMODATION
The Camp is located in the heart of
a beautiful pine forest in Bollullos de
la Mitación, in Seville. Within this
privileged environment are the
facilities of CBS, The British School
of Seville, of new construction,
where the rooms are equipped with
bunk beds.
The rooms can accommodate up to
20 compers. These are distributed
in groups of the same age and sex.
We offer the maximum guarantees
in security and supervision, since
our monitors supervise the children
in our closed and private facilities 24
hours a day.

We intend to enhance the creativity, motivation and interest of our students towards the Spanish language through dynamic and fun activities. 7 - HOW ARE THE DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES ORGANISED? The main activities at CBS Summer Camp are classified as follows: SPORTS PROGRAMME: Taking advantage of the magnificent facilities at CBS, we offer a wide variety of sports that are led by monitors specialised in physical education. Some of the sports included are: - Football - Volleyball - Basketball - Hockey - Paddle - Tennis - Swimming CBS has an open air swimming pool onsite where children will receive swimming lessons and also enjoy taking part in fun water games. MULTIADVENTURE PROGRAMME: Campers will enjoy a full day of Multi adventure, taking part in fun activities such as: - Rock Climbing - Bouldering - Zip wire - Archery - Karts - Paintball - Kayaking
PERFORMING SKILLS PROGRAMME: Campers will enjoy fun creative activities in different workshops such as: - Modern Dance - Arts & Crafts - Drama - Recycling - Music - Science - Acrosports NIGHT TIME ACTIVITIES: Before going to sleep, we have many surprises prepared for our campers such as: - Karaoke - Britain’s Got Talent - Music Concert - Cinema - Theme night

9 - TRIPS At CBS Summer Camp there are 3 days in which we go offsite on trips. Campers have a fun and unique experience outside the facilities. The places we choose for these trips are always safe where children are supervised at all times by our monitors. Isla Mágica Theme Park in Seville City Isla Canela Sailing School Multi-adventure day with Overlimits Adventure Park.
10 - COMMUNICATION WITH FAMILIES
The communication with the camper’s families is a very important aspect of
any summer camp. At CBS Summer Camp we make 24 hr contact possible
via our online platform, which you can access through our mobile
application or on our website.
Campers will be able to bring their mobile phones, labeled with their name
and group on a sticky label. All mobile phones will be kept in the camp
offices and will be given to campers at the scheduled time during the days
assigned to phone home. The schedule for phoning home will be available in
the app. It is important to keep in mind that these schedules can be flexible
depending on any unforeseen situation that may arise, so we do ask for your
understanding if at any time calls are behind schedule.Those children who
do not bring a mobile phone will be able to call at the established time via
the camp's landline.

Thank you!11 - DINNING ROOM At CBS Summer Camp our experienced chef and hospitality team prepare appetizing breakfasts, lunches, snacks and dinners for campers. Campers can enjoy balanced diets prepared by our Nutritionist. To ensure the well-being of campers, we serve each one in a personalised way, so that we can adapt the menu in case of special dietary needs. Thus, we offer a special menu for campers with special diets. The monitors of each group will ensure that each child eats properly. The menu is available on the CBS Summer Camp APP. Please notify us of any food allergy or intolerance.
12 - THINGS TO PACK
RECOMMENDATION
At CBS Summer Camp we help campers to learn to order and manage their
belongings, favoring their autonomy and responsibility. All belongings
should be marked with the camper's name and group. Campers should bring
comfortable clothing. There is no laundry service so enough clothing should
be brought to last the full ten days.

BIRTHDAYS
We ensure that campers who celebrate their birthday during
Summer camp have a great day. We organise a surprise party
and our chef bakes a special birthday cake for them!!!
POCKET MONEY
Prices are all-inclusive, so campers do not need to bring extra
money. Campers can buy ice-creams at the camp tuck shop a
bank transfer must be done previously via the online platform.
LOST PROPERTY
It is very important that all camper’s belongings are labelled.
This will facilitate the identification and we will therefore be
able to return any lost property.14 - TRANSFER AND TRANSPORT

Transfer services can be organised upon request. The cost of this service will

depend on the origin and the number of participants.
If you would like to hire the service of collection and transfer from Seville airport,
Santa Justa station, Plaza de Armas station or any other point of Seville please
ask for prices.
15 - CAMP RULES AND
REGULATIONS
CBS Summer Camp is authorised to cancel at any time the participation of a
camper for not respecting the camp rules.
Should this situation arise, the return travel expenses would be paid by the legal
representative of the camper and the amount paid for participating will not be
reimbursed.
CBS Summer Camp reserves the right to cancel a camp if it does not cover a
minimum number of places, in which case the amount paid will be returned to the
user.
CBS Summer Camp is authorised to use all the photographic material or any other
media, in which the campers appear, for the promotion of future programmes
(unless stated otherwise).
The safety and physical & emotional well-being of the children participating in CBS
Summer Camp is our priority. Our team of monitors have been carefully selected
and trained to promote and provide a healthy, respectful, safe and fun environment
for the campers. We encourage and help the children participating in our camps to
solve their differences and conflicts in a positive way that allows them to learn from
their mistakes and understand what mutual respect means. To do this, we make it
easy for them to talk about what happened with the help of the monitor and every
night before going to bed we have time for a a group reflection where the monitor
promotes conflict resolution and teamwork. In addition, we reward positive
behaviours with points.16 - MEDICAL INFORMATION

It is very important that you inform the monitors assigned to your
children of any allergy or illness that they may suffer, even if it has
already been registered in the matriculation form.
If your child has an illness or an allergy, they should follow the
following steps:
1 - Complete the form as soon as possible on the CBS Summer Camp
platform.An email should also be sent to:
secretaria@cbssummercamp.eu
2 - On the day of arrival, please speak personally to your child’s group
monitor.
3 - In case your child needs a special diet, you can request a brief
meeting with the camp chef before camp begins.
Although the monitors will remind campers to put on sunscreen every
day, it is important that you also remind your children of the
importance of using it to avoid possible sunburn.
We recommend your child to bring a mosquito repellent wristband, as
campers will take part in an outdoor camping night.
In addition, it would be advisable for all campers to be treated for
head lice before coming to the camp, to avoid possible infections.
No child who is being treated for any illness or who has been ill 72h
before entering the camp will be admitted, especially if they have
had a contagious diseases. For the acceptance of any child at CBS
Summer Camp the legal guardians should be responsible for
complying with these requirements.17. PROCEDURE IN CASE OF ILLNESS OR ACCIDENT The monitors have direct contact with the Camp Director at all times. If a participant suffers an accident or is ill, the monitor will immediately inform and provide the camper's medical record. In addition, we will have the support of qualified First Aid staff at our facilities at all times. The Director is authorised to act as appropriate in accordance with the seriousness of the situation and will notify the camper's family as soon as possible. At CBS Summer Camp we have a complete first aid kit that will be used in case of need by authorised and trained personnel. We also have a 24-hour support vehicle and direct contact with a nearby medical center in case of greater urgency.
18 - PRICES & DISCOUNTS The price of CBS Summer Camp is: 780€ from July 1st to 10th & 780€ from July 11th to 20th HOWEVER WE OFFER SPECIAL DISCOUNTS IN THE FOLLOWING CASES: - 100€ discount when you book before April 30th. - 50€ discount, if you are a student of CBS Entorno - CBS Altogether, you are registered in Bollullos de la Mitación or you have participated in one of our previous Summer Camps. - 50€ discount if you bring a friend. Discounts for siblings *: - 10% discount for the second sibling. - 40% discount for two siblings. - 50% discount for three or more siblings. *The discount for bringing a friend is not cumulative to the sibling discounts. Special offers for groups: * A group of five or more children is considered a group. Group discounts are not cumulative with other discounts.
19 - REGISTRATION PROCESS INDIVIDUAL 1 - Complete the registration form on the CBS Summer Camp platform. 2 - Send the mentioned documentation that is detailed below. 3 - Payment. GROUP 1 - Appoint a group leader. 2 - Register the group and reserve the places required. 3 - The group leader should sign the general conditions of the group. 4 - The group leader should then give the group code to each camper to register in that group. 5 - Send the mentioned documentation that is detailed below. 6 - Payment. The group payment should be made in one single payment for the entire group. DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED: Photocopy of the Social Security medical card. General conditions completed and signed.( This document can be downloaded from the camp online platform.) A digital photo of the camper.

20 - DATES OF ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE THE DAYS OF ARRIVAL ARE JULY 1ST AND JULY 11TH Upon arrival, campers should wait at the main gate, where the camp director will meet you. Once in the facilities, parents should accompany the campers to their assigned rooms and help them to prepare their bed, etc. There will be different tables with monitors where parents should hand over the camper's mobile phone with the charger in a closed bag and labelled with the name of your child and the pin number in case you think your child may forget it. Parents should also accompany their child to collect their group t-shirts. If your child needs to take any medication during the camp you must hand in the medication along with a prescription and the signed document stating that your child is responsible enough to take his/her own medicine. DAY OF DEPARTURE 10:00 - Parents arrive and collect luggage. 11:00 - Closing Ceremony (diplomas and trophies)
21 - PAYMENT AND CONDITIONS THE PAYMENT SHOULD BE MADE IN FULL WHEN FORMALISING THE RESERVATION VIA A BANK TRANSFER. Colegio Británico de Sevilla S.L Account: ES48 0049 6192 13 2916123772 Concept: Name of camper. Send proof of payment by email to: secretaria@cbssummercamp.eu If the payment is not made within a maximum period of 1 week after the reservation, it will be automatically cancelled. In case of requesting the cancellation of your reservation, one of the following procedures will be applied according to each particular case: 100% of the total will be refunded when the withdrawal is requested within 7 days after the receipt of the payment, provided they are not dates close to the start of the camp in which case it will be assessed under the conditions set out below. 50% of the total will be refunded when the withdrawal is requested within 30 days before the start of the camp. 30% of the total will be refunded when the withdrawal is requested within 15 days before the start of the camp. If the withdrawal is made the week before the camp start date, there will be no refund.
