This can be scary, and sometimes the first person you ask can’t or won’t do anything to help you. Keep asking. Pink Shirt Day shows there are many people who care about supporting you. Mauri Tū, Mauri Ora – Stand Together ‘Mauri Tū, Mauri Ora’ means to stand together in life and wellness. ‘Stand Together’ refers to how bullying behaviour is influenced by the actions and values of friends, whānau, schools, kura, workplaces and whole communities. This is a step by step information guide on how to safely operate a piece of equipment or carry out a task. Once you are considered c competent to carry out the work without supervi- sion, you will be required to sign the SOP to confirm your understanding. These documents should then be provided to HR to add to your training records. Managers/Supervisors should be aware of what training is required but don’t wait to be asked. Talk to your manager about training BEFORE you do a job you haven’t tackled in the past. Don’t wait for accidents or incidents to happen.
