What’s going on at DCSL ...

May was a busy month at the center! In addition to our regular programming, we
held our DCSL Volunteer Appreciation event to recognize all our wonderful
volunteers. We would not be able to
                                         operate without them.

                                         DCSL recognized our senior mothers
                                         with our drive-through Mother’s Day
Lunch. Mothers received a flower and a hot lunch in recognition of their special
day.
Seniors participated in our Shop & Grab grocery days, toured the Center
through our New Member Orientation, enjoyed a congregate meal in the 406
Café’ and joined our regular activities.

On May 15th, DCSL held its
first Fish Fry Fundraiser.
With the help of over 150
DCSL participants, the Sr.
Advisory Committee, vendors,
DCSL Board members and
our main sponsor, Oak Street
Health, we were able to raise
over $3,000 directly benefiting
the Center! Thank you to all
who bought tickets, or
contributed your time and
talents and to make this
event happen!
