NEW TO AGW: GALE DATABASE! An online database is a collection of information in a variety of formats (e.g. magazines, newspapers, videos, images, scholarly journals, e-books, and more). The type of material available is usually unique to individual databases. Databases can be broad- reaching or subject specific, and they contain more reliable information than can be found on some websites. STAFF ARE READING The Ballad of Songbirds The Selection and Snakes Kierra Cass Suzanne Collins I found "The Selection" series to be Denise Miller, Counselor engaging and entertaining. I would (and have!) recommended this book and the series to my students, especially students who may not like to read. Rudows Guide Annika Troutman, English to Fishing the Chesapeake Lenny Rudow Great book on how to catch Rockfish in the Chesapeake Bay. The Silmarillion John Bryant, Health & P.E. J. R. R. Tolkein This is the epic introduction to Middle Earth, it's super dense, but worth the read! Arianne Toussaint, English The Children of Blood and Bone Tomi Adeyemi It is definitely a unique fantasy book. A Promised Land It has heavy African roots to its lore Barack Obama which is very interesting and something I've never read before. This is a great read! Marta Knapp, Spanish Monica Bailey, Counselor

E Principal William Boatwright, The Rest is Noise (Listening to the 20th Century) Alex Ross More Than Pretty Erica Campbell Good blend of cultural history and Stephanie Fitzgerald, music history. Easily understood- Math very well researched. Arlene Mandoudis, Band The Toll Psychological Assessment Neal Shusterman of Culturally and Linguistically I love The Arc of a Scythe Trilogy. Diverse Children and Adolescents I just started Book 3, The Toll, Esther Geva and Judith Wiener and I am really excited to find out what happens from the cliffhanger The authors do not go over that was at the end the methodology of the research of Thunderhead. but provide strategies that are practical to practicing psychologists Jessica Whitfield, English/Science all over the world.
