                           Want to learn what it takes to create Musical Theatre that you love? By popular
                           demand, Ink Pot Arts is hosting a fabulous new Musical Theatre Project which will
                           have you singing, dancing and acting out your favourite musical songs led by
                           performing artist Daniel Hamilton. Whether it be songs from Matilda, Tuck
                           Everlasting, Footloose and more, this program will be tailored to the talents and
                           needs of the participants, including skill building and preparing for Review-style
                           performances in the community 2021 – 2022 (dates tbc). Throughout the class
                           fundamentals of Musical Theatre will be taught across a variety of genres.

Daniel is a born and bred South Australian, whose work has taken him across Australia. Studying at the
Queensland Conservatorium, Daniel received his Bachelors in 2018, before touring Australia with Meerkat
Productions, a leading TIE production company, something that had driven Daniels support for children’s access
to Musical Theatre. He is a proud supporter of new Australian work, having been a part of workshops for
Fangirls (Belvoir/QTC), Genesis by William Hinz, and Saltwater by Susanne Porter. He is a proud MEAA member.

This free Arts for Wellbeing program by Ink Pot Arts will provide a fun-filled,
welcoming opportunity for neurodiverse teens & their friends to explore & develop
performing skills. Led by Sally Hardy, Term Two 2021 includes preparation for an exciting new theatre project
bringing together the Affinity cast with Ink Pot’s Acting for Fun members, which will be devised with the cast
and director/playwright.

Sally is a playwright, author and producer whose work has won
awards both nationally and internationally. An AWGIE winning
playwright, her work has featured in the DreamBIG Children’s
Festival, the Come Out Children’s Festival, the World Festival of
Children’s Theatre, the Trinity College London International Festival
of Playwriting and Performance, and the Adelaide & Melbourne
Fringe Festivals.

Now here’s an opportunity! Join Ink Pot Arts’ Improv Ensemble and get into gear for spontaneous fun and
expression! This action-packed hour session each week will increase your acting skills, individual spontaneity
and team work as confidence grows. Newcomers warmly welcomed!!

Curtis Shipley has been a performer and entertainer for many
years, mastering all the skills required to present stand-up
comedy, immersive and interactive theatre and games, quiz
nights and custom-designed birthday parties. His main passion is
improv, which he performs professionally as well as running
workshops at schools and for community groups.

Just as the name suggests, these sessions led by award-winning playwright and director Sally Hardy are about
experiencing the joy of creativity and unleashing the actor within. Emphasis is on developing confidence,
silencing the inner critic and rediscovering the pleasure of play.
Sally is a playwright, author and producer whose work has won

This FREE workshop for fire-affected families will provide some FUN with imaginative games, songs and
creative movement which will leave you uplifted and smiling .
Jen Lush is a multi-disciplinary performing artist and educator who is passionate about delivering high quality
arts experiences to people of all ages. With a background in music, dance, and theatre, that has taken Jen
across the country and overseas performing and teaching, she is dedicated to making and communicating
through the creative arts. Jen has recently worked as guest songwriting tutor at the Adelaide Guitar Festival
and Fleurieu Folk Festival, is running a pilot program with Novita Children’s Services, and continues to facilitate
a music/songwriting program at Eden Hills Kindergarten.

Talent needs nurturing . Nathan Douglas Day’s initiative aims to provide a welcoming
place to come together and share creative writing projects (poetry, stories etc), give
and receive feedback, discover new styles and techniques, and be a motivating & encouraging space. Do you
have diverse writing interests? No problem, this session offers discussion from many different viewpoints.
Don’t know where to start? Learn some tips from fellow adventurers!

Nathan Douglas Day is a hills-based published poet (Dip Arts, Creative Writing, Tabor Adelaide) who has
diverse artistic pursuits including music, songwriting, woodwork and creative writing. He aims to surprise his
readers into laughter through his poetry, focusing more on nonsensical/dreamlike themes to break down what
is expected from poetry and poets, but is equally at home with the honing of serious creative expression.

Everyone can do this! Applying a step-by-step approach, Max will develop your ukulele playing & general
musicality. Beginners I introduces strumming rhythms, the basic chords & learning to play songs in a group
setting. Beginners II will introduce music theory & continue to build on the foundations provided in the first
module. Informal performance opportunities will be offered as confidence grows .

This advanced workshop focuses on
developing musicality, finger picking &
strumming techniques. It will teach you
how to integrate barre chords into your
songs, extending your musical repertoire. The group gets a huge amount of enjoyment from performing
regularly in the community & we warmly welcome newcomers!
Max Tulysewski is an Adelaide-based musician, composer, producer & teacher. He first began experimenting
with the ukulele in 2011 & has brought it with him into a variety of different musical situations both on stage &
in the studio. He is a highly skilled and much-appreciated teacher of uke – come along and get inspired!
