We’ve fallen in love with tales of futuristic alternate dimensions… but what if we told
tales from ourselves if we had the ability to time travel to the future? Will trees still
exist? Does the Earth run on purely solar power energy? What new ice-cream
flavours have been discovered? This exciting new devising project will encourage students to learn the art of
improvisation and ensemble-building skills as well as incorporating interactive media. Led by Ren Williams,
weekly classes will delve into students ideas, creative imaginations and tap into their ability to create and play,
forming a final performance at the end of the year.
Ren Williams is a recent Graduate from the Flinders Drama Centre and is an actor, director and playwright,
creating work on Kaurna Yerta. Ren’s work has won awards within the 48 Hour Film Project over the last four
years, including ‘Best Film’ and ‘Best Actress’. Her play ‘Touch’ won a merit award in the 2020 State Theatre
