                      TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Tournament Status

TECHNOFORM Lion City Junior Squash Open 2018 is an ASF “Silver’ event
organized by Singapore Squash Rackets Association. Junior participants will
receive ASF ranking points.

Tournament Dates

    12 JUN      (Tuesday) Check into Hotel
    13 - 16 JUN (Wednesday to Saturday) Matches
    17 JUN      (Sunday) Check out of Hotel

ASF Sanctioned Junior Events

Boys & Girls: Under 11, 13, 15, 17, 19
Each player may enter only one event in his/her age group or higher if so desired

Age Cut-off Date

16 June 2018 for respective junior age groups

Entry Submission, Entry Withdrawal & Closing Date

    It is open to all foreign and local players not banned by WSF, ASF and
     SSRA
    All foreign entries must be endorsed by their respective National Squash
     Association (Form A)
    Please give your correct date of birth as we will verify them from your
     passport
    Junior entries without SPIN number will be rejected. Refer to
     http://www.worldsquash.org/ws/spins to register.
    All completed forms with entry fee bank transfer slip must be returned by
     email to Tournament Secretariat at events@sgsquash.com
    Tournament Secretariat must be notified of any withdrawal with valid
     reasons. Entry fees will not be refunded if withdrawal is done after closing
     date
    Entries must be received before 6th May 2018 1159pm Singapore Time.
     Late entries or entries without the entry fee will not be accepted

    *Local Junior Entry fee = S$40 (Form D or SportyHQ)
    Non Local Junior Entry fee= S$50 (Form A only)

* Local Players are Singaporean or PR with Singapore NRIC number

Limited rooms with special room rate will be on a first come first serve basis.
Reservations are to be made by SSRA.

Entry Fee for Non Local Players with Accommodation (Players, Officials,
Parents)

    Package: SGD450 per person for twin sharing. SGD900 per person for
     single room. Special rate of SGD400 for 1st *10 entries (Twin sharing only).
    Above package is for 5 nights from 12th Jun (check-in date) to 17th Jun
     (check-out date), breakfast included
    SGD150 per additional room night
    All arriving foreign players and officials will be picked up from the airport
     upon submission of travel itinerary (Form C).

*10 entries being 10 players taking up Twin sharing packages. Order will be
determined by emails received by SSRA with payment.

Entry Submission & Withdrawal

All entries must be submitted using either one of the following options:

   • Oversea/foreign entries (Form A) must be endorsed by respective
     National Association. Payment to be made as per instructions above.
     Local players may use Form D for registration or the online tournament
     platform (SportyHQ).
     - All juniors must be SPIN registered. (See above for link)

       Or

     - Applicable for all local entries only (NRIC would be required). Payment
     can be made via credit card.

Scoring & Format

    Main rounds and top 8 matches will be played to best of 5 games
    Scoring - 11 points – PAR (Point-A-Rally) following the WSF Rules of World
     Singles Game
    Depending on the number of entries in each category, format will be
     determined by SSRA.
    All players are guaranteed A MINIMUM OF 2 MATCHES
    Check-in 45 minutes before scheduled match time. Match timing is an
     indication only. Matches will be played on a FOLLOW-ON-BASIS (matches
     will be called to start when the preceding match ends). Postponement of
     match will not be entertained
    Walkover will be awarded against players who are more than 15 minutes
     late upon being called to start the match; subsequent matches will be
     forfeited, no points and rankings will be awarded unless a valid MC is
     produced and prior notice to organizer is given

 Players will be expected to play two matches a day

      16th Jun    (Sat):       8am to 8pm – Finals and prize presentation
      17th Jun    (Sun):       Teams checking out

Official Ball & Eye Wear

Dunlop Double Yellow Dot Balls will be used during the Tournament. Eyewear is
mandatory for U19 players

Local Transportation to Squash Courts

From the hotel
    Shuttle bus service between hotel and venue will be provided on a limited
      basis (Only for players/officials who are taking the hotel package)
    Players and officials staying at the hotel are also encouraged to utilise the
      local public buses. A total of 7-8 stops (15 – 20 mins) only. Buses 10, 12,
      14, 32, bus stop is located directly outside the hotel. A player’s handbook
      with the instructions will be handed out at the hotel.
