TAFE NSW ENGLISH COURSES Excellent English language skills are required to complete your chosen TAFE NSW course. For most courses the English language requirement is Academic IELTS 5.5/6.0 or TOEFL (iBT) 46 or STEP Eiken Grade Pre 1 or a TAFE NSW Certificate in Advanced English for Further Study or equivalent. Some courses have higher requirements. If you do not meet the requirements of the course, you can study English as a stand-alone course or as a package with your TAFE NSW course. STREAMLINED VISA PROCESSING (SVP) TAFE NSW has been approved for Streamlined Visa Processing (SVP) by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP). Under SVP arrangements, eligible student visa applicants are assessed as a lower immigration risk, regardless of their country of origin. This can reduce the number of documents you are required to submit and shorten the processing time of your student visa application. WHICH TAFE NSW COURSES HOW DO I APPLY? ARE ELIGIBLE FOR SVP?
