The Client Risk Management for Brokers Study Course, is an immersive study course, offering participants a unique and practical case study based learning opportunity. ABOUT THE COURSE Client Risk Management for Brokers is a three-day intensive risk management study course, that looks at risk management as part of a holistic asset protection strategy. It will equip participants with the tools to navigate, assess and manage risk, as well as understand the core drivers of the insurer. Following the course, participants will be able to immediately apply their newly acquired knowledge, skills and techniques to better manage their own clients’ risks and build stronger client portfolios. Led by risk management experts, the course will provide participants with technical knowledge and assist them in understanding the importance of risk in relation to their company’s strategy, growth and underwriting philosophy. Participants will work in groups to develop the skills to assist them in completing a practical, simulated case study and present their learnings on the final day of the course. PRE-COURSE ACTIVITY To adequately prepare for the Client Risk Management for Brokers Study Course, participants are invited to complete an online ANZIIF Skills Unit, Assess Risk – at no cost. The Skills Unit will be available to participants to access approximately six weeks prior to the course to formalise their learning as part of a future ANZIIF qualification. The Skills Unit is optional and estimated to take between 20 to 25 hours to complete. Instructions and details of the online course will be emailed directly to participants prior to the course.
