introduction Welcome The most valuable gift you can give a child is the opportunity to develop independence, self-worth, leadership, responsibility, and most of all, life-long faith in Jesus Christ. At Camp Omega, children develop a stronger sense of self, others, and God; they learn how to navigate the world successfully; they learn resiliency; and they learn the value of healthy, Christ-centered relationships. Camp Omega Day – June 9th In early June, Camp Omega hosts a special “Open House” opportunity for guests of all ages to experience and celebrate the camp community. Activities include swimming, horse-drawn wagon rides, pontoon boat rides, archery, canoeing, and a FREE picnic-style barbeque. Stay for the day or just stop in to see what camp is all about. This is a FREE event for all ages! Visit www.CampOmega.org for more information. Leadership Training Camp This leadership training camp gives high school-aged students the tools to succeed and grow in the Christian faith, as well as provide skills to serve as Christian leaders at camp and in the community. Looking for more hands-on leadership experience than this leadership week? Apply to be a Youth Servant Leader (YSL)! YSLs assist counselors in providing for the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of campers. Leadership Training is mandatory for those applying to serve as a YSL. If you have completed your freshman year of high school or are at least 15 years old by June, you can become a YSL this summer by completing the application found at www.campomega.org/youth- servant-leader-program. Get ready to make a difference. leadership training Sessions June 10-15 June 17-22 COST: $190 on or before March 1; $200 after March 1 1 www.CampOmega.org | info@CampOmega.org | 507.685.4266
