Your Spelthorne Borough Councillors
Borough Councillors are elected by the community to make decisions on behalf of residents about local services
including rubbish and recycling, environmental health, services for older people, planning, housing, leisure
facilities and parks. They represent their ward areas for four years. Councillors are not paid a salary for their work, but
they do receive an allowance. If you have a problem in your area or wish to
comment on an aspect of the Council’s service, then you can contact one of Ashford Common

effort must be made locally and nationally to reduce the
effects of climate change.
Across the Council’s services, all strategic decisions,
budgets and approaches to planning decisions will be
aligned with the goal of reducing carbon emissions.
