This spring, we’ve been given a chance to pause and
consider our daily rituals. World events have made these
rituals the sum of our days, and we’ve allowed them to
take center stage. A new routine in my days is sewing
masks. In the evenings, I set up my mother’s sewing ma-
chine and cut, iron, and sew colorful remnants of fabric
into something useful, which I share with anyone in need.
The process is meditative and has been part of my self-care.
We encourage you to find what lifts your spirits as well.
