Prospectus 2021-2022 07 CORE SUBJECTS The UTC curriculum is enriched with regular access to Project-Based Mathematics (1 GCSE) learning where students ‘drop down’ English Language, English Literature (2 GCSEs) from their normal lessons to do industry- led real world projects. Project-Based Biology, Chemistry, Physics (3 GCSEs) learning helps students understand the Computer Science (1 GCSE) ‘real-world’ of work and develop the skills they need to get ahead. Students will end key stage 4 with a fantastic set SPECIALIST TECHNICAL of GCSE results, a unique CV and the Technical Health Care Science professional skills to take them to the next stage of their career. The Key Stage 5 Programme Flexibility is at the heart of our approach to the Sixth Form curriculum. You will choose 1 of 2 main pathways, but we will ensure that your individual interests and capabilities are taken into account as we agree with you which pathway you will follow.

Entry requirements 5 + GCSEs grade 4+ including English and Maths Students are also encouraged to participate in additional Enrichment and Health & Fitness activity.
