MONTH
The pinwheel is the national symbol for child abuse prevention. As a symbol of
childhood and innocence, the pinwheel is a reminder that every child deserves a
joyful childhood, free from abuse and other harm. Please see the April edition of
the Florida Catholic for more information on the Archdiocese of Miami’s efforts
to protect children and a few stories from some of our schools and parishes,
all of whom are dedicated to the ministry of protecting children and vulnerable
