and compare it to today. One thing that strikes me is the volume of information
by which you are surrounded, every day.
It is nearly impossible to escape the news, and I appreciate that much of the news
these past few years has been bleak. Just when things seem hard, they get
harder. You’re at a crossroads now: do you ignore what’s going on in the world
around you, and succumb to feelings of helplessness? Or do you carve out a
space for yourself, in which you can make some small difference? Those small
differences add up to big change, so I hope you choose the latter.
