Eurovision Sport is proud to represent LEN European Aquatics Championships on
a worldwide basis. This partnership with LEN has been recently renewed until 2024
and it inclutes events such as two Short Course and two Long Course European
Championships respectively in 2021–23 and 2022–24. Europeans have shown their
strength on the Aquatic scene over recent years, and with events such as Water

these sports offer spectators a chance to enjoy both physical and artistic aspects
of the Aquatic events.

The UK, France, Italy, Netherlands and Hungary are the reigning European
Champions, heavily challenged by Denmark, Ukraine or Germany. Russia however
remains unrivalled when it comes to Synchronized Swimming.

Eurovision Sport also distributes the worldwide rights to the Water Polo
Champions League 2018/19. Our rights include the 60 games of the preliminary
rounds (with the exception of the first party rights) and the rights to all the games
of the Champions League Final Eight (with the exception of the host country).

FISA
ROWING
Arguably one of the most beautiful and the most demanding of all sports, rowing
requires focus, presence and teamwork. These qualities are the cornerstones of the
sport, and are reflected in Eurovision’s values. Eurovision Sport is proud to renew
the contract with FISA until 2020 and thus one more time offer the FISA World
Championships as well as the FISA World Cups to the European broadcasters.

The World Rowing Cup is an annual team competition, comprising three
international regattas in Grand Prix format per year. A World Rowing Cup
Champion is allocated in each boat class to the nation with the most points won in
that boat class at all three regattas.

The World Rowing Championships is an annual, 8 day Championships for male
and female rowers in all 14 Olympic disciplines. It attracts entries of approximately
1,200 athletes representing up to 70 countries. The last 4 days of semis and finals
(Thursday-Sunday) generate worldwide television coverage.

FIS
SKI FLYING
The FIS Ski Flying World Championships is a ski flying event organised by the
International Ski Federation and held every two years. It is a truly spectacular
discipline appealing to new audiences with drama and excitement.

There are just five ski flying hills in the world, in Harrachov (CZE), Vikersund
(NOR), Planica (SLO), Kulm (AUT) and Oberstdorf (GER). These hills are much
larger than ski jumping hills, with the K-point set between 185 metres and 200
metres. Unlike ordinary ski jumping, the Ski Flying World Champion is determined
after four jumps. 40 jumpers qualify for the competition and jump the first round,
10 are eliminated, and the 30 remaining jumpers compete in the last three rounds.
The athlete with most points combined after four jumps is declared the World
Champion.

Finland, Norway, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, Poland and Japan are the
ski flying top nations. France, Russia, Italy or US will challenge the “reigning stars”
in Planica 2020.

The FIS Ski Flying World Championships 2020 will take place in Planica (Slovenia)

BIATHLON
The Winter Olympic sport of Biathlon combines the endurance of free-technique
cross-country skiing with precision small-ball rifle marksmanship. The combination
of two very different disciplines in the same competition – skiing and shooting –
presents the athletes with an extremely demanding challenge.

With it being a popular spectator sport, biathlon draws a huge audience not only at
the competitions but also on screen.

Intense spectator interest in biathlon is not surprising as it offers a wide spectrum
of concurrent dynamic activities in the course of a single event. For example, in
the pursuit, a spectator can view starts, shooting, penalty loop and finishes while
always aware of who is in the lead. On the competition trails or in the stadium it is
just as exhilarating for the spectators, who can follow the exciting duels between
the athletes at close range.

Needless to say, Eurovision Sport is proud to have recently renewed its contract
with the IBU until the year of 2022.

ISU
SKATING
Collaboration between the ISU and Eurovision Sport started in 1965 on the
occasion of the European Figure Skating Championships in Moscow, Russia. Since
then, Eurovision Sport is proud to represent this oldest governing international
winter sport federation. This partnership for media rights will ensure maximum
visibility combining the strengths of free-to-air coverage and broadcast guarantees
from EBU Members with an all embracing approach to new media technologies to
reach different audiences around the world.

The ISU will hold more than 30 events this winter, making skating one of the most
extensive sport in the world. We have the pleasure in providing this large number
of competitions to European audiences and beyond including Figure Skating,
Synchronised Skating, Speed Skating and Short Track Speed Skating, European
and World Championships.

The ISU offers more than 250 hours of live content, starting with the Grand Prix of
Figure Skating Cup of the United States of America in October 2018 and ending
with the Synchronised Skating World Championships in April 2019 in Helsinki,
Finland.
