CHAMPIONSHIP CONDITIONS
54 holes of stroke play
Friday, 8th June – practice round, tee times booked by players
Saturday, 9th June, 1st round, 18 holes
Sunday, 10th June, 2nd and 3rd, 36 holes
Men’s Tees: White
Ladies’ Tees: Black
A) The Championship is to be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by the R&A Rules
Limited, and local Rules as approved by the Championship Committee.
B) In the event of a tie for the first place, the winner will be decided by hole-by-hole playoff. Any further
tie will be decided by final stipulated 36, 18, 9, 6, 3, holes or last hole, in that order.
C) The ball player uses, must be named on a current List of Conforming Golf Balls issued by The R&A Rules
Limited
D) Driving Clubs – any driver the player carries, must have a club head identified by model and loft, that is
named on the current List of conforming Driver Heads issued by The R & A Rules Limited.
ELIGIBILITY
All competitors must be amateur golfers in accordance with the Rules of amateur Status approved by the
R&A Rules Limited;
A) HDCP must be certified by the respective HDCP authority and has to be validated on the date of
entry:
- Male competitors with HDCP 15,4 or better
- Female competitors with HDCP 22,4 or better
B) AGE as of 0:00 HRS on day 1 of the Championship
- Male competitors must be 30 years or older;
- Female competitors must be 30 years or older;
Penalty for breach of this condition: Disqualification.

ENTRIES LIMIT
120 competitors will be eligible to compete: 90 Male Competitors and 30 Female Competitors. If the
number of entries exceeds 120 places, the starting field will be decided by handicap ballot.
PRIZES
The winners will receive the Challenge Trophy of the Slovenian Golf Association up to the third rank in net
and gross, Men and Ladies.

ENTRIES
Entries must be on official entry form. Slovenian Golf Association must receive entry forms no later than Friday,
4th June 2018 at 12:00 AM, fully completed. Entrants must in all respects conform to the Rules of Amateur
Status and shall sign the declaration of that effect contained in the Entry Form.
Entry Fee: 150 EUR (official practice day, green fee for the competition day, snack, lunch after each Competition
round). Participants are kindly requested, to pay this amount on the arrival at the Reception of Golf Ptuj. In
case, that participant fails to pay, she/he will not be allowed to compete.
FREE PRACTICE ROUND
One day prior to the Championship. Starting times for the practice round should be registered and confirmed
by: Golf Ptuj, T.:+386 2 788 91 10 or Mobile: +386 41 791 065, E-mail: golf@golfinvest-ptuj.si .
REGISTRATION
All players must register at the reception of Golf Ptuj one day before start of the first competition day until 3:00
PM. A competitor, who fails to do so up to this date and time, is liable to be withdrawn from the Championship.
If a player is unable to register in person, a registration by another person, by fax or E-mail will be accepted.
