Our Company Raymond Brown Waste Solutions has a network of recovery and recycling facilities across South Central England. We offer market leading skip hire and waste management services to customers seeking exceptional service and sustainable solutions. Our Distribution business uses a detailed knowledge of construction materials to deliver a reliable service across South Central England. We sell and distribute quality materials into the local construction market, including a range of contractors, fixed outlets and merchant hauliers. We are also a leading distributor of primary and recycled aggregates, soil and IBA Aggregate across the South. Our Fleet Raymond Brown are a registered waste carrier and our comprehensive in-house fleet of tipper vehicles and drivers are all fully CPC trained, the majority of them long-serving employees to the business. The fleet is also accredited to the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) and Project Pictogram which is a fleet, business and community road safety communication aimed at reducing risks across our roads. The transport office is managed by experienced and dedicated staff who are always on hand to assist with customer requirements and to keep the ever expanding fleet running smoothly. Our Facilities The company operates fully licenced waste facilities which are strictly monitored and controlled by the Environment Agency. We are ISO 14001:2015 accredited and work closely with all statutory authorities to ensure our sites are continually improving. Our site teams are committed to operating responsibly and are passionate about reducing the environmental impacts associated with waste. We ensure regular engagement with stakeholders and our site teams work closely with our neighbours, communicating with them on a regular basis. 04 05
SKIP AND ROLL-ON ROLL-OFF HIRE Waste Solutions Raymond Brown provide a bespoke waste management service to achieve sustainable solutions for all of our customers. We offer a single source solution for your waste and recycling requirements. Following an initial site waste audit, your account manager will work with you to compile a site waste management plan to suit your requirements. We offer an extensive selection of skip and roll-on roll-offs ranging from 4 to 40 yards in size, to support each stage of your work requirements. Should you require your skip to be placed on a public highway, we can also organise skip licences on your behalf and we can supply lighting to comply with regulations. Operating a network of licensed facilities to minimise waste and maximise recycling, we are able to continuously achieve recycling rates of over 90%. We are also able to divert landfill waste for use as Solid Recovered Fuel for energy production, allowing us to achieve average recycling rates of 100% for select customers. Providing a bespoke waste management Our drivers have handheld mobile devices which capture signatures, take photographs and record all required information to improve the accuracy of your waste segmentation analysis. GRAB HIRE We operate a versatile grab hire service as a cost efficient alternative to the conventional skip. Capable of accessing difficult areas and of working over fences and walls. Our fleet includes both 6-wheel and 8-wheel grab lorries, which are capable of carrying 12 or 16 tonnes fully loaded; they can also be used for the delivery of aggregate and collection of inert spoil, mixed spoil, builders’ waste, green waste, hardcore and concrete. Our experienced drivers are fully trained and certified to operate our grabs, and are highly skilled to collect your waste or deliver your material into the most awkward of places. MUCK AWAY We operate a versatile fleet of tipper lorries, which have the latest specifications and safety technology and are fitted with “Superlite” bodies to achieve the maximum payloads for our customers. Our vehicles, including a driver are available to hire for waste collection and disposal (muck away), haulage per load, per day, or on a contract mileage basis. Our fleet of 6-wheel and 8-wheel grab loader trucks are also capable of accessing difficult areas and of working over fences and walls, they can reach waste from any location with their on board cranes. COMMERCIAL TIPPING Our licenced facilities are able to accommodate non-hazardous waste from third party companies, local authorities, skip hire companies and trade van operations, as well as other waste management businesses. Upon arrival, your vehicle will be directed to our weighbridge station, where the load will be weighed before tipping. Once tipped, the contents will be logged and the waste will be stockpiled ready for loading into our material recovery facility. Our recycling rates across all our facilities are currently over 90%.
