Network Toys Germany GmbH is the central IT service provider for the exchange of master and variable
data within the toys sector as well as adjoining product ranges similar to toys.
We offer an effective overall concept concerning the subject EDI and item data exchange. By using the
system, traders and manufacturers are in a position to simplify their electronic communication significantly.
Apart from the supply with high quality master data, the Clearing Center enables the exchange of presently
7 message types (ORDERS, ORDRSP, ORDCHG, DESADV, INVOIC, INVRPT, RETANN, PRICAT) via a
standardised interface.
The services of the company, which was founded by the trade organisations Bundesverband des
Spielwaren-Einzelhandels e.V. (BVS), SPIEL & SPASS, VEDES AG as well as the chain stores myToy.de GmbH,
Spiele Max AG and Toys “R” Us GmbH, are basically at the disposal of all market partners. The technical and
content-related standards compiled by the founding members will be published without limitation. The
interests of the market participants are discussed in committees and will afterwards flow into the further
development of the platform and/or the data standard.

Your item master data are in good hands at NTG. NTG supports the data supplier with the data analysis,
the enhancement and at the onboarding so that the item master data achieve the quality required for the
online presentation of the retailers affiliated.

Onboarding of the data via an automatised web stream or via the web browser
Saving of the item master data in a structured form
The data recipients are determined by the supplier

6NTG MasterDataService - The data export into most different formats
There is no need to complete several item data templates if you are using MasterDataService provided by NTG.
The item master data provided can at any time be exported into very different formats. The standard imports
include: csv format, BuschDATA (with/without supplementary kit), BuschDATA2 and PRICAT.
More export formats which are individually programmable: Amazon toys, Media Markt Saturn Holding, Galaxus,
GS1 Germany, Müller, real, Markant, Kaufland, Kaufhof, Kik, Rewe, Bünting, Windeln.de, Babymarkt, Brandora,
Begros,- and many more.

7Data Onboarding Service
Support at the maintenance / import of the item master data
If a supplier needs support for the provision of the article master data, they can use the Data Onboarding
Service provided by NTG. The item data will be sent to NTG electronically and will be structured there, so that
these can be uploaded according to the NTG standard. The structuring will be effected in the sections of the
categories texts, images, features, units, number formats as well as with different plausibility checks.

9Research Portal for Item Data – Visualisation of the Item Master Data
On the Research Portal for Item Data, the specialist traders as well as the suppliers can get an additional
overview on the quality of the item master data provided. This portal serves for the intensification of the
cooperation between trade, specialist trade and industry by visualisation of the data provided. The goal is to
improve the data quality continuously.
10Trainings NTG DataQualityManager
Under the patronage of the associations BVS (Bundesverband des Spielwaren-Einzelhandels e.V.)
and DVSI (Deutscher Verband der Spielwarenindustrie e.V.), NTG offers trainings to become a NTG
DataQualityManager. The training contents were developed in cooperation with the GS1 Germany GmbH.

11III. EDI Variable Data – Exchange of Electronic Documents
NTG is your partner for the exchange of electrical documents between trade and industry. The document
types include orders, order confirmations, order modifications, delivery notes, invoices, stock notifications
and item data.

If a trading partner is not yet a participant at NTG
(the industrial partner, however, needs an electrical linkage to
that trading partner), then NTG will realise this linkage individually
if the supplier requests so.

IV. General Service
Item Data Team
Our Item Data Team is a team of specialists for item data. It includes representatives from the retailers linked
and NTG employees. It is their task to weekly coordinate on common requirements of item data qualities. They
are in constant contact with suppliers in order to continuously improve the data qualities.
Competence Team
In regular meetings of industrial partners and retailers, current topics in the fields of item data and variable data
are discussed. The implementation is carried out to the benefit of both parties and flows into the standards for
the sector.
13V) Direct shipment with myToys.de GmbH
What does it mean?
Direct shipping is a method in logistics in which a trader sells goods to the customer without storing or
delivering them himself. Instead, deliveries are made through a third partner, e.g. a supplier to the end
customer.

14 Direct shippingSemi-automatic process
The semi-automatic process is exclusively available for direct shipment with myToys. This means the manual
download of the direct shipping orders as a CSV (collective) file, as well as the manual upload of CSV files for
order confirmations, delivery notes and return notifications according to a defined record structure. Order
confirmations can be booked through.

(Complete package for EDI transactions and article master data - for suppliers who only handle the direct
shipping process via NTG.)

15VI. Special conditions for PBS Network suppliers
Members of PBS Network GmbH benefit from special conditions when connecting to the clearing center of
NTG Network Toys Germany GmbH.
The costs for the use of EDI services (ORDERS, ORDRSP, DESADV, INVOIC) as well as the transfer of the article
data to the traders connected with NTG, amount to 1,200 euros per year plus VAT.
Billing is done by PBS Network GmbH.
