The parish council will now have more time to respond to various objections in the district council case officer’s report in order to give the proposed application a better chance of success. A new chairman will be elected by the council at its next meeting on February 14, and s/he will remain in place until May 2018 when a further election will take place. In the meantime, Vice Chairman Ian Griffiths will be acting chairman.
