Saturday, October 2, will be the Corvette Legends day at the State Fair. We will have
to enter before 8 am and the cars will have too remain until at least 5 pm. All cars must enter and leave
together. Proof of insurance will be required for each car being displayed. Entry forms to follow. Sign up

has been cancelled; members are encouraged to partici-
pate in the Huffines parade that date – see Newsletter for
details. Huffines has been supporting our club for over 12
years by handling our Newsletter mailing and also pro-
vides club members discount on parts.
Dennis Conte reported that the club now has 130
members. Name tags for new members are ordered.
The planned speaker for today’s meeting is quar-
antined due to Covid. Our creative “acting” Programs
Coordinator, Len Woodruff, distributed white tickets to
every family prior to the meeting, and during the meeting
drew two tickets. Those members were asked questions

Tom Hubbert finally received the application for par-
ticipating in the Texas State Fair. He has requested dates
(in order of preference – all Saturdays) of Oct. 2; Oct. 16;
Sept. 25. We must have a minimum of 20 cars.
Ken Dobbs is going to the Aug. 27-28 Summer’s End
Corvette Show in Rogers, AR. Contact Ken if you are
interested in joining him.
Al Lisbona is coordinating a Sept. 4 Dinner Cruise to
Dove Ridge Winery in Weatherford. A sign-up sheet was
passed around for sign-up. Details are in the Newsletter. Legends members enjoying our new meeting location at Prairie House.

There will be a special drawing for early entries.
Once again there will be an Oktoberfest going on at the
same time and it will be located West of our car show.
We will have our silent auction and 50/50 tickets set up
during the show as in previous years. Our 50/50
tickets will have multiple chances to win one of our fabu-
lous prizes.
We will have 2 Best of Show winners this year:
C1 through C4, and C5 through C8.
Over 50 trophies will be awarded along with bottled wine.
