This perfect little red Australian Cattle Dog pup came into my life back in September 2008. Schooner did
it all and he did it all so very well – Conformation Showing, Obedience, Rally Obedience, Agility, Jumping
and Games. Although Agility was his love, and when competing, he was affectionally known as ‘one bar
Schoo’. He could have had oh so many more titles behind his name if he just did not knock that one bar!
He finished his career with an amazing 22x titles plus multiple Group wins in the show ring and a Runner
Up to Best Exhibit in Show award! He has also been successful as a Neuter and Veteran Show Exhibit.
The highlight of his career, and my proudest moment, however, was winning the Agility Dog Excellent
(500) Final at the Brisbane Agility Nationals in 2014 – where he was crowned NATIONAL AGILITY DOG
EXCELLENT 500 CHAMPION 2014! Who says a little red Cattle Dog from the Northern Territory cannot
become a National Champion! He backed this amazing achievement up by placing 3rd in the Novice
Jumping (500) Final at his first Agility Nationals in Perth 2010. He has qualified in the sporting ring a
staggering amazing 136 times.
My beautiful mate is now 12 years old and, as he grows older and a little wobblier every day, I often sit
and reflect on his extraordinary career and smile at all we have achieved together.
Many thanks to Cooroorah Kennels for letting me choose this boy, I think I picked a good ‘un! Schooner,
thanks buddy, enjoy your well-deserved retirement and I hope we will have many more years together.
Schooner is proudly owned by Tanya Reichstein and he was bred by Tony and Kerrie Carlson, Cooroorah
Kennels, Queensland.

Titles are strictly the domain of the Australian National Kennel Council Ltd (ANKC), therefore DogsNT will
no longer be updating this Section.
The ANKC Title qualification requirements listed in this Section may not be current. It is the responsibility

FCI JUDGE SUSPENSIONS
Ukrainian Kennel Union (UKU) informs the FCI members and contract partners that
Mr Oleksandr Bereza has been suspended as exhibitor and handler. He is not allowed to enter or handle
any dogs in FCI international events for a period of 1 year, from 23/07/2020 until 22/07/2021.
The Suomen Kennelliitto - Finska Kennelklubben (FKK) informs the FCI members and contract partners
that the dogs listed HEREUNDER can no longer be used for breeding. Their pedigrees under FI studbook
were consequently cancelled and registered under the EJ appendix to the studbook. Please turn to the
FKK for any information in case you are facing a request for one of those dogs.
