PRESENTED BY – SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2019 WEST BANK OF THE FLATS • CLEVELAND • 20,000+ ATTENDEES
BRITE WINTER WAS STARTED AS AN IDEA: that Clevelanders don’t want to hibernate through countless brutal winters. Fast forward nine years and now that idea has grown into the region’s top music and arts festival. Brite is once again headed back to the Flats in 2019 to bring together the region’s best sights, sounds and smells for our biggest winter celebration yet. “Brite Winter has become something of a wintry institution in this town. We’re a gritty, freezing temp- bred city, so a music and arts festival in the middle of winter — OUTDOORS, no less — is just as sensible as anything. Plus, the music and arts offerings are top- notch and getting better each year.” ERIC SANDY, SCENE MAGAZINE I PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES PRESENTED BY
BRITEʼS MISSION IS FOR ATTENDEES TO EXPLORE AND DISCOVER. Bringing together local, regional and national acts of pop, indie, folk, hip-hop, rock, funk and beyond, there is something for every taste — all encompassing a unique and quirky community that makes Brite happen. 76% of festival goers discovered a new band because of Brite Winter! 44 musical performances 3 outdoor stages 4 indoor stages “That’s why we love Brite Winter, which brings us a bounty of great bands while we wear our parkas and scarves and huddle around fire pits... Brite 2016 was larger and more badass than ever, with thousands in attendance. It’s one reason not to dread the arrival of winter on the North Shore.” BRITE GOER I PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES PRESENTED BY
BRITE ART IS CREATED BY THE COMMUNITY AND FOR THE COMMUNITY to make winter beautiful. Art at the event provokes thought-fueled conversations & creates uniquely Brite experiences. From large physical structures and local artisans to ice sculptures and fire shows, Brite is a showcase for the creative community. 67% of festival goers discovered a new visual artist or gallery because of Brite Winter! “...the art, music and culture fest has become one of Cleveland’s biggest annual events...” LAURA DEMARCO, PLAIN DEALER I PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES PRESENTED BY
FESTIVALGOERS IN 2018 EXPERIENCED: the fire & ice tower (pictured), ice-carving demonstrations, fire pits with s’mores, infrared heat mapping projected larger than life onto a building, dance parties in the art tents, ping-pong, food trucks, cornhole, ice bowling, a pop-up marching band, and buskers— all in addition to the beautiful winter art and a diverse music lineup from Cleveland and around the country. “It was so well organized. I was amazed by how much time and thoughtfulness went into making sure there was something for every age group to experience.” BRITE GOER I PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES PRESENTED BY 5
