ABOUT THE TREK:

One of the most widely sought after treks in India, the Sar Pass trek opens up to magnificent views of
the vicinal Himalayan peaks. Originating from the famous village of Kasol, which is also known as the
backpackers’ paradise, the trail weaves through a melange of dense forests of pine and
rhododendrons, lush meadows and rustic hamlets. Leaning a bit towards a moderate level of
difficulty, the trek is ideal for fit beginners. Sar Pass is essentially a mountain ridge, and not an actual
mountain pass, as far as technicalities are concerned. But this doesn’t mean it is any less thrilling than
one!
Huddled in the serene Parvati Valley of Kullu, Sar Pass offers unmatched views of the roaring Parvati
river. The Sar top unveils a panoramic canvas of snow-clad peaks and misty mountain valleys. The Sar
Pass trek also holds some of the finest campsites like Min Thach, Biskeri Thach and Nagaru in its lush
folds. The route is truly mesmerising, enhanced by a handful of gurgling streams that emanate a
haunting lullaby for trekkers. Trekkers get to cross the icy waters of the river Parvati on their way
towards the quaint little village of Pulga.

The trek is best enjoyed during the months of May to October when a thick blanket of snow blankets
the route at higher altitudes! The terrain swerves from being a fairytale forest to a winter wonderland
with beautiful subtlety. Ensnaring the senses with a lovely caress of the visual and spiritual beauty,
Sar Pass promises you a camera full of postcard-worthy photographs, and a heart full of lifetime
memories. Make your foray into the world of Himalayan trekking with Sar Pass, which guarantees to
leave you begging for more adventures.

The magnificence of a beautiful verdant landscape against a curtain of majestic Himalayan peaks
shrouded in snow and mist, wearing a halo of clouds. Itching to grab your rucksack and run? Book
