7 WE SEEK TO GROW IN LOVE GIRLS ON THE RUN We are starting back up Girls on the Run (GOTR) for girls in grades 3-5. We have had this for the past few years. It is an after school program. Girls On The Run (GOTR) March 15-May 16 Tuesday, Thursday 3:00-5:00 This program is looking for coaches to help with the girls at our school. Coaches must be 18 or older and must be female (sorry, guys!). If you are interested in being a coach, please let me know, and I will pass ONE THOUSAND THANK YOUS your name on to the program coordinator. By Sarah Steffan Last February, while recovering from influenza I started researching kindness. I found many ideas, one of which was to give One Thousand Thank Yous. That idea resonated with me, it stuck. Things roll around in my brain PRESCHOOL ENROLLMENT IS NOW a lot before there is a way for something to come to AVAILABLE! fruition. Please mark these important dates on your calendar: March 13, 2020 was our last day of in-person learning due to the pandemic. Like many of you I was worried, scared, General enrollment: February 24th and uncertain of what was happening in my home, my school, my neighborhood, my state, my country and my More information is located on our website: world. The alternative to the worry for me was to focus https://www.seascsfw.org/admissions/ on the good that was happening. I saw multiple reports of preschoolenrollment.cfm healthcare workers and the steps they were taking to care for others; shifts without end, keeping their families safe by sleeping in their garages, and worrying least about themselves in our time of crisis. I was in awe of the human spirit and so happy to see good still exists. As the Home and School Association chair of the Catholic Schools Week Committee at our school I had the opportunity to make the One Thousand Thank You idea a reality. We have approximately 500 students who are each creating eight thank you notes to healthcare workers during Catholic Schools Week, January 31 to February 5, 2021. The 4,000 thank you notes will be delivered to Lutheran Hospital for distribution to their 3,900 employees. It is important for us as a school to recognize the dedication of all those in healthcare; housekeeping, chaplains, registration, techs, nurses, doctors, SETON NIGHT LIVE 2021 Seton Night Live 2021 has been moved to a virtual administrators and all the others who keep the hospital event on Saturday, March 20, 2021.
