PARISH STAFF Pastor’s Letter CLERGY Rev. Allan Joseph McDonald Dear Parishioners, Pastor Frajm@stannerh.org | 912–737–0112 During the Lenten Season, Bishop Parkes has asked us to “look for the Sacred.” Rev. Robert Phillips He specifically asks us to renew our devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. We are Parochial Vicar blessed at Saint Anne’s to have a statue of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, and our FrRobert@stannerh.org | 912–737–0116 image of Jesus as Divine Mercy shows His Most Sacred Heart as well. Deacon Ben Ernst Permanent Deacon You can google “Sacred Heart” to find out how this devotion evolved in the bene@earthlink.net | 816–383–0799 Church and the role that the private revelation Saint Mary Margaret Alacoque had in the mid-1600s of Jesus as the Sacred Heart, causing its spread throughout PASTORAL STAFF the world. What is most powerful to me is that this image is of the Risen Lord Renee Singleton Coordinator of Religious Education in heaven, where his crucifixion wounds are still visible as scars. ccd@stannerh.org | 912–737–0118 The Promises that Jesus gave Saint Mary Margaret are still important for us today: Kathy Zdunich Catholic Youth Ministry stannecym@gmail.com | 912–737–0120 Promises of the Sacred Heart 1. I will give them all the graces necessary for their state of life. Jody A. K. Deliguori Music Director 2. I will give peace in their families. jody.deliguori@gmail.com | 912–228–0993 3. I will console them in all their troubles. 4. I will be their refuge in life and especially in death. ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF 5. I will abundantly bless all their undertakings. Sarah Thomas 6. Sinners shall find in my Heart the source and infinite ocean of mercy. Director of Parish Administration sarah@stannerh.org | 912–737–0122 7. Tepid souls shall become fervent. 8. Fervent souls shall rise speedily to great Karen Krupp perfection. Assistant Bookkeeper 9. I will bless those places wherein the image karenk@stannerh.org | 912–737–0114 of My Sacred Heart shall be exposed and Mary Fullerton venerated. RCIA Administrator 10. I will give to priests the power to touch maryf@stannerh.org | 912–737–0113 the most hardened hearts. Shannon GaNun 11. Persons who propagate this devotion Bulletin Editor shall have their names eternally written bulletins@stannerh.org in my Heart. COUNCILS 12. In the excess of the mercy of my Heart, I promise you that my all powerful Pastoral Council love will grant to all those who will receive Communion on the First Fridays, Russell Wicke, President for nine consecutive months, the grace of final repentance: they will not die Russell.wicke@gmail.com in my displeasure, nor without receiving the sacraments; and my Heart will Stewardship Council be their secure refuge in that last hour. Joanne Pruszynski, Chair rjjadprusz@aol.com Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Finance Council O most holy heart of Jesus, fountain of every blessing, I adore you, I love you, Allen Lancaster, Chair and with lively sorrow for my sins I offer you this poor heart of mine.
