EVALUATIONS & REIMBURSEMENTS Did you KNOW? The hosting service unit is eligible to receive a cookie rally reimbursement of up to $125? In order to receive this reimbursement the hosting service unit must submit their completed evaluations that were provided with their rally kit. Reimbursements can only be issued for the number of girls who participate in the evaluation so it is important to make sure every girl completes an evaluation as part of her troop or group. Evaluations are done as a group/troop individual evaluations should not be done. # of Girls Served Reimbursement 1-50 girls $25 51-100 girls $50 101-150 girls $75 151-200 girls $100 200+ girls $125 TIPS FOR ADMINISTERING EVALUATIONS Young girls may need an explanation of the questions listed. It is OK to rephrase questions and provide examples, Ex Did you learn anything new about Money Management, when we had our mock cookie booth? Break up the questions. Ask one or two at a time maybe even throughout the event. This keeps things fresh, and moving without troops rushing to complete at the end of the day. Try "Yes/No" or Red/Green paddles for Daisy and Brownie Girl Scout to answer questions. It's easier than counting hands and is more engaging for the girls. Don't wait until girls are ready to go home to pass out evaluations. This puts everyone in a rush without allowing time for a good debriefing. Debriefing allows girls (and leaders!) to reflect and soak in all their new skills and knowledge! 28
