Overview
The Copper Coast will host the 2021 South Australian Masters Games. With more than 1,300
competitors across 27 sports expected to take part in the SA Masters Games in the Copper Coast.
All cycling races will be staged in Kadina or Moonta, about two hours drive from the CBD of
Adelaide. This will include the Time Trial – Road Race – Criterium. The area has played host to
many a cycling race over the years. This technical guide will give you all the information required.

Event Entry
The 2021 SA Masters Games are open to riders with an AusCycling Road and Track Race
Licence. Event Entry covers all 3 Road Cycling events, it is $35 for one, two or three races so get
on board and support all three. Starting with the Time Trial to test your individual time, with the
road race in the middle to give you a bit more of a social race and ending with a fast paced short
course Criterium at Moonta around the extended Queens Park town circuit. Possibly the cheapest
3 days of Cycling you’ll have with amazing scenery and beautiful beaches to relax post-race.

A 3 day race licence will be available and proof of your licence will be required on the day of the
event.

Age Limit: Competitors must turn the 30 years of age prior to the commencement of the games on
the 15th of April 2021. Proof of age will be required at registration by all competitors by means of
photo ID. Age Categories will also be determined by the age the competitor turns prior to the
commencement of the games on the 15th April 2021.

How to Get There
Kadina is approximately 2 hour’s drive from the Adelaide’s Central Business District (CBD).
Kadina is in the centre of the Yorke Peninsula taking the left turn after Port Wakefield and heading
straight towards Kadina. We suggest you book accommodation as priority as it is busy hub in the
Copper Coast with accommodation in Wallaroo, Kadina and Moonta all booking out fast due to the
picturesque beach side places to stay.

Accommodation can be sought from Caravan parks, apartments on the Marina, Hotels and BnB’s.
