Programme overview Join us for the latest advice and best available practice to succeed as a surveyor in the North of England – along with plenty of opportunities to network with speakers and fellow attendees in our new and exciting virtual reality conference format. Choose one stream or move in-between streams The plenary sessions will focus on the current state of the UK economy and property market, with a particular focus on the impact of Covid-19 in the North of England – including short and mid-term forecasts to help you better plan for your clients and your organisation. Conference streams Stream A: Commercial and Residential property For surveyors or agents dealing with sales and leases in commercial and residential properties. Sessions will focus on regulatory and legislative changes which will help you mitigate the risk of litigation. Stream B: Quantity Surveying and Construction For quantity surveyors and professionals working within the construction industry. Sessions will tackle recent contractual changes, spotting contractor insolvencies and implementation of new health and safety standards. Stream C: Building Surveying and Valuation For building surveyors and valuation professionals. Sessions will focus on guidance and best practice on assessing building pathology, valuing property during crises, overcoming retrofit challenge and adopting the correct approach to concrete defects and repairs. Stream D: Rural, Environment and Land For surveyors who work within the rural, environment and land sectors.
