SUMMER IN AMARILLO AIN’T EVER OVER EASY UNTIL HVAC LOANS STARTING AT NOW 8.9% APR* Housing Market News As you may have noticed, there have been some serious shortfalls in the US Economy recently, but how does this effect the housing market? We are sure you have seen and felt the upward pressure on home prices since the pandemic began, accompanied by record-low mortgage rates, unprecedented fiscal stimulus, and an intense housing shortage, it might be confusing if this is the right time to buy/sell/hold a house. One thing is for certain, we might never see mortgage rates as low as they are right now again. If you got a mortgage before 2018, it might be worth looking into a refinance. Rates have fallen nearly 2% since their high in 2018. In the long run, this could save you thousands in interest. If you rent and have been considering buying a house, this period could also be beneficial for you as well, FHA and conventional mortgage rates are at an all-time low, which could give you an opportunity to lock in that low rate before they rise again. At Access, we believe in helping people build financial security. That means we will never push you or recommend you to make a decision that is not reasonable, transparent, or affordable for you and your family. If you would like to speak with one of our mortgage experts or apply for a mortgage with Access, you can go to our website by clicking HERE or by calling our mortgage center at 806-322-5129. We are here to help guide you along your path and provide you the resources you need to succeed.
