Dear Christ Church family, Our annual Programs and Ministries booklet highlights many ways to connect to God, one another, and our wider community. This year is different from any in living memory, and yet the need to connect and center our lives in Christ remains essential. The clergy, lay leadership, and staff hope that this year the church can balance being a place of refuge, innovation, and welcome! Worship is the center of our common life. This fall, we will continue to offer Sunday services via Zoom, as well as outdoors as weather permits. Beginning in October, we will have in-person services in the Sanctuary. Dr. Moore is starting a handbell choir and the parish choir will continue to meet and record virtually. I invite and encourage each of you to connect with a small group for fellowship or formation. There are a dozen options on pages 6-7! We will also continue to have gatherings for kids and teens, both in-person and online. Please read about our “Church Friends” initiative and know you can always reach out to the clergy. Throughout the fall, Outreach will offer ways to serve and there will be various special events, services, forums, and guest preachers. The best way to be aware of everything happening and any changes along the way is to read to our weekly Messenger. Contact the church office to subscribe. Together we are one in Christ. Blessings, The Rev. Bowie Snodgrass Priest-in-Charge CHURCH HOURS THIS FALL Sunday 8:00am-12:00pm Tuesday 8:00am-1:00pm Wednesday 8:00am-1:00pm Friday 8:00am-1:00pm During these hours, the church is open for private prayer, visits to the memorial garden, drop offs for the food pantry and other church business.
